I think Hoax, nice imagination there. I'm in the area and haver never heard stories of this. Also the writer embellishes by writing "watching the loss of their entire town. " Joplin tornado destroyed a swath of area through the city, not nearly the entire city. Therefore i conclude he is writing fiction for the most part.

I was just watching a show about the butterfly people saving the people during the tornadoes in Joplin... Wild.

I wouldn't be surprised, that town was cursing Israel just before it was taken out too.

And the churches destroyed was the Catholic and Presbyterian, both groups are well known Israelhaters and deeply vested in Replacement heresy.

In the aftermath they had weird fungi and diseases hit them too.

So if the city has a lot of satanists in it it's no wonder this place was struck. Just like New Orleans was taken out as a response to USA displacing people from Gush Katif.

This Butterfly People is just another manifestation of some type of evil in that place. Like that Mothman phenomenon that always seems to bring bad stuff with it. Maybe it's even the same supernatural phenomenon, some type of devil manifestation and such things will happen in places with many satanists.
