Liberals put up billboard calling all white people racist

Looking at it from their perspective even, it is counter-productive.
How are you going to combat racism if you signal out one group as being ignorant, privileged and/or the inherent oppressors?
It will only add fuel to the fire and enforce racism as it will cause white people who feel attacked by this to adopt a more aggressive attitude towards blacks in reaction to it.

I grew up and lived most of my life in a small city that is 76% black. I was a little girl during the civil rights protests and integration. There is still a water fountain in the school board office that was just for blacks, the white fountain right next to it had cooled water. I was drinking out of the black fountain one day and a black woman walked by and said "Girl don't you know what that fountain is" she then explained it to me.

You really cannot understand what it is like until you experience it. To know there is no use to even apply for a certain job because of your skin color. I was a token white at the utilities company for several years. Starbucks refused to open here because the mayor insisted they hire a black manager. Denny's has tried several times to open a restaurant here but can never get it done.

I also remember my grandparents feeding the field hands outside under the trees. Many of the older generation of blacks still today won't go into a white person's house our of fear of getting in trouble.

My house (built in the 60's) even has what was originally a maid's bathroom. When I first moved in here I could not figure out why anyone would build such a tiny bathroom connected to the utility room.

To this day I find it strange to go to a white community. There are subtle things too, like finding products for white hair, makeup or even light colored pantyhose.

You are absolutely right! That's why I dont donate money anymore to any stupid Haiti earthquake or starving kids out in Africa. I dont understand why white people are so desperate to strengthen their enemies. Why do they want to donate money to the people who are try killing them? Racists never recognize themselves as racist in the general public. It's when they are alone with their spouses and children that the real horror begins.

Gotta step in here for a moment. Here in the Netherlands we see that in the big cities which are much more diverse than some of the smaller cities and villages, there are hardly any racists. The racists in our country are (maybe surprisingly) exactly there where there are hardly any foreigners.

What if somebody produced a billboard that read:

"It's hard to see a black man in the dark".

Is that offensive?

Do they have the right to exclude outsiders?
