The incoming energies of the wave will literally brush the contacts of our minds, and support this reconnection of the global human circuit.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1309522

Ugh.. I am laughing at myself. People often misuse the word 'literally' in an attempt to add emphasis, even when they are speaking in metaphor or exxagerating greatly. In fact this inversion has become the most common usage. The fact that I just did it in this context though is a bit ironic...

If fire is Life... then probably both ;)

After all, Everybody dies* someTIME. If time collapses then, your death and your life will be one whole. The light brings Life/death, burning/birthing, the Phoenix.

The whole secret is to live without fear - Buddha.
 Quoting: Sirius Bull 1309522

Fire in Brahministic/Hinduistic terms is a release to elemental properties. As is the solvent nature of wasser/water.

It burns away the chaff and hardens the alchemical metals of heart. A distillation of purpose and intent.
 Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflatus

When in my 'altered states' of lucid dreaming, sometimes I ask to be bathed in a purifying fire.

Funny, when I don't feel a sensation of 'pain' when it occurs, I ask for it, just to feel as if it is 'doing' something. I often get the sensation of someone smiling behind the scenes at how humans behave.
 Quoting: SickScent

Here's a completely unrelated question: Is there literally some crazy athmospheric energetics occuring today? I feel like I'm vibrating to the point of inability to focus??

I believe what you are getting at is the attuned state.
 Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflatus

I have been so wired an in a good mood, my wife has looked at me for the past 2 hours like I was crazy. She is not used to me being hyper and in a good mood.

I feel fucking GREAT!

I will let this man give my response:

"The company is outside and above the egg. They have ascended (spiritually) through the sun door, which opens at the instant of noon at the summit of the sky....The normal limitation of human thought and sense, the clothing of the mind, were destroyed in the fiery passage, the purging flames of which are now blazing at their feet; and the serpent wrapped around the mound, at which they gaze in silent rapture, combines the forms that would have been seen below as opposites: the serpent crawling on its belly and the bird in winged flights." - Joseph Campbell
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1309522

Thank you for the image of Quetzalcoatl or Kukulcan. That is the first stellar signpost we'll reach on June 6th. As towards the literal or metaphorical context; We shall see.

Tezcatlipoca, the god of smoking mirrors and darkest night shall give way to the dawn and rising star of self reflection in the form of the release of Quetzalcoatl from the torn confine of Mictlan.
 Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflatus

Fantastic! I don't often bother separating literal from metaphorical though...

I believe the burning of the clothing of the mind refers to the dissolution of the boundaries of the self. By expanding our consciousness beyond those limitations we will come into conscious contact with one another, to such a degree that it will transcend the limitations of spoken language and blur the boundaries between individuals.

The incoming energies of the wave will literally brush the contacts of our minds, and support this reconnection of the global human circuit.

That new awareness will shatter the smoked mirrors that permit deceit, and we will finally be able to see ourselves as one. Self reflection and a golden age ensues for the new Adam, the human collective.

This process does however entail the subduction of the ego. Anyone who is living at that moment purely from ego, will probably experience that dissolution of self as a kind of fiery death, using the alchemic definition of fire you gave above.

It'll be fun! See you then, If we really have infinite time then I'll be making guacamole for everyone! :)

Oh, this must be old hat for you professor? I guess you "wanna take a ride"

LOL, And that's exactly why I am looking for subconcious cues from others; I am trying to outwit myself and feel like we don't need an external fire to free us.

I can call into example catastrophic brain injuries from blunt force or electrical traumas where the slate is wiped clean. In fact the mind has to go through precursors such as echolallia and rhythmic tone to even resubstantiate communication.

In fact the deductive point is the babylonian glossalallia may have been induced by a cataclysm so extreme as t frce the entire collective of humanity to relearn. This is why I brought up the fact of 3114 BCE and the great flood emanating from the nile delta.

And no I'm not in organized academia. I'm just a guy on a tourbus with a penchant for reading and talking to folks that most think of as eccentric.
 Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflatus

How odd you mention this, I have had several "Spiritual" experiences through my 52 years. Each came with plausible deniability....head trauma, electrocution, oops some interesting mushrooms and withdrawal from prescribed seizure meds for medical testing...spread over 40 years or so.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7111119

What you'll find in Daoist, Mayan, Azteca and even Egyptian and Grecian mystery schools are a constant recounting of synaesthesia like events, prominently relating to the fecundity of........you guessed it: The regenerative staff, the Mushroom.

If you can find A copy of John Allegros Sacred Mushroom and the Cross you will see the archetypes and cross cultural contamination of the great equalizer.

Buddhist Monks will routinely relate that these practices put you in touch with the effusive white light, or as far as the projected astral self can travel before dissolution.

Re: Conciousness, filters and the eschatological age
Losing Yourself

Streetcorner visions, I know him. He stands there not knowing where to go.

Panic, tearing in all directions at once. Immobile fear.
Blind instinct bouncing in a paralyzed body.

The mind runs. Hot tears flow.
Images cascade. Screaming children torn apart. He looks for the pieces. He looks at their eyes and hypnotizes them.

He sends Images of cool distant places. Anywhere but here: burning jungle, acrid smoke and broken bodies

Thrumming of helicopter blades.

It all intermingles. He is now the body on the ground. He gave too much of his vision to them.

He couldn't convince himself He'd be alright. No cool places. He sold them to souls departing for a moment of calm. Their calm. Their last image.

Three tours ate all of his self assurance.

The helicopter is an Idling bus. He can't talk. flashing lights. No tears, just silent screaming and scattered visions.

They roll him in front of a bright window. He smiles seeing a bird on the ledge. His eyes focus on the windows reflection. Who is that. Ideas of self flicker.

For 18 months he's been lost, merely a second.

I see his vision. I know there are no reasons, just pictures. Sometimes their colours are overwhelming.

Twisting in bed there is the recurrent gagging. Everytime I fall asleep they push the black wafer into my throat and tell me to swallow it. I gag and try to spit, feeling that it is growing distending my jaw. I spit it out. I can't breathe gasping, muscles spasming.

I try to relax, deep breathing looking over a plain. Pyramid in the distance. A voice asks me to flip it. I laugh at the absurdity. Stomach swelling, hot bile rising. They keep trying to push the wafer into my mouth.

I writhe and kick and screams build up. They have me pinioned and grab my head making me look. Eyes are burning and dry. I am locked, movement impossible. The pyramid is stacked bodies asking for forgiveness freedom from suffering. They are beseeching, wide eyed fear.

I feel hands tearing into my spine and squeezing. I try to speak. I scream. A scream so all encompassing that I have forgotten any reality, any obstruction.

It flows and the pyramid crumbles as it stands on its tip.

One is the remembering of a febrile seizure and the other the breaking of an old friend. At times more real than any now.

John Allegro

Allegro, an eminent Dead Sea Scrolls scholar, edited some of the most important of the Essene documents, including the biblical commentaries. He is author of The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Christian Myth (1984), in which he states that the Catholic Church deleted, changed, or suppressed large amounts of the newly found material. The Church also tried to hide the Nag Hammadi library materials discovered in Egypt, because of the Gnostic writings which helped undermine the entire basis of Christian beliefs. John 8:44 is one example of the Gnostic influence, and other Gnostic writings describe homosexual overtones in a particular form of baptism which Jesus knew about but which the Church sought to hide. In the 1984 work....

The Essene book of Revelation

The Essene Book of Revelations
Translated by E B Szekely

Behold, the Angel of the Air (Octahedral hum) shall bring him,
And every eye shall see him,
And the brotherhood,
All the vast brotherhood of the Earth
Shall raise their voice as one and sing,
Because of him.
Amen.

"I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End;
What is, what was, and what is to come." (non material and uninclined to material time)

And the voice spoke, and I turned to see
The voice that spoke to me,
And being turned, I saw seven golden candles;
And in the midst of their blazing light
I saw someone like a son of man,
Clothed in white, white as the snow. (coming into being)
And his voice filled the air with the sound of rushing water;
And in his hands were seven stars, (7 transcendant incarnations)
And when he spoke, his face was streaming light,
Blazing and golden like a thousand suns.
And he said, "Fear not, I am the first and the last;
I am the beginning and the end.
Write the things that you have seen,
And the things that are, and the things that will come after;
The mystery of the seven stars which fill my hands,
And the seven golden candles, blazing with eternal light.
The seven stars are the Angels of the Heavenly Father,
And the seven stars are the Angels of the Earthly Mother.
And the spirit of man is the flame ( 7 material chakras)
That streams between the starlight and the glowing candle;
A bridge of holy light between Heaven and Earth." (between material temporal being and timeless immateriality)

Re: Conciousness, filters and the eschatological age
The theory of expanding Earth and the coming Flood.

I love to Ponder the book of genesis. This is the absolute oldest text of the Bible. There is still much controversy as to the actual authorship and any argument about the Bible being corrupted, by many transcription and translation errors, has to apply to the book of Genesis in spades. Additionally, the Genesis story, more than any other scripture, contains the most scientifically implausible, if not impossible, details of the most incomprehensible events.
The six days of creation,
The creation of man,
The Garden of Eden,
The Nephilim and the Giants,
and Noah and the flood

are all examples of tales that are just not seemingly scientifically feasible, according to our modern day cultural knowledge base. There is not an Astrophysicist, or any Physicist, that doesn't take issue with the six days of creation. Evolutionist, Anthropologist, and Biologist in general all have their own slant on the creation story. The Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve, Nephillium and Giants, and even the flood story have become dismissed as fables and myths by all, but the most fundamentally religious few.

How can modern man investigate any of these seemingly bizarre tales from today's perspective? Using the principles outlined in the "Psychology of Understanding," let us consider as many perspectives as possible and the same common sense rules apply, as with any investigation. If one persons sees something, it is interesting; but if two or more people report seeing the same phenomena, it begins to have creditability.Then by examining as many witnesses as possible, and gathering as much data as necessary, so that a central theme of truth emerges.
