The kundalini awakening actually helps you become further addicted to the sensual, physical world, not the spiritual. It is certainly a force but it drives you with fire for the here and now, not the hereafter. It confuses people because it makes them feel alive, on fire, supernaturally aware, but its not enlightenment. It is a powerful and enjoyable force that imprisons us further in the flesh and this density.
