"French President Nicolas Sarkozy says France and Germany agree that Greece should place state revenues into a separate fund to pay down its crushing debt and avoid bankruptcy." [ link to www.france24.com] This is the latest idea by Merkel and Sarkozy. Basically, this would mean Greece would now obviously become a slave to the banks. They would have no more control over their own money. No more sovereignity. Are the Greeks going to accept this? Not a bad idea. The Greek government and system was/is clearly incapable of managing their affairs and is now dragging down the EU (that they cooked the books and lied to gain membership of). In times like these you need to put grown-ups in charge to make the tough calls that will be required to solve this mess.
