OK this is weird...

Earthquake in the phillipines, massive damage and nobody here has thoughts on it...? WTF....


I know they get 700 Earthquakes a year, but this seems big..

Couple in the latest quake data with over a 6 happening in the same region practically every day or every other day... Makes me go hmmmm....

This is why.

The Phillipines is a THIRD WORLD country.

More people died in that quake than in the big one in Christchuch New Zealand, which had a lot of media coverage.

But New Zealand is a FIRST WORLD country.

Our news is covering it, but to be honest I don't like to talk about things like this whatever country it happens in.

The next thing will be lots of collections for charity aid happening some genuine some bogus, so make sure you give wisely.

For same reason why you should watch a bombing in European country, Israel or USA which kills a few people for weeks but merely see it on news when a bomb explodes in Iraq and kills 50 people.
