I'm a Catholic born in 1973. As with most Catholic's I know, we don't always agree with the church and most are - quite frankly - embarrassed by the handling of the abuse of children.

That said; the Church is made up of sinful PEOPLE. The doctrine of the Church is what I hold dear, not the sins of men within. For me, it's about God and His son Jesus Christ.

I have NO hate or disdain for other religions, as there are rays of light within each. I just believe the Catholic religion is the way. It's MY belief.

That said; discrimination against the Catholic church is the ONLY acceptable form of discrimination on this planet. While I enjoy an artist's freedom to express themselves, I found that performance repugnant. Honestly, I've seen and tolerated a lot of what I think has been disrespectful, but this was the worst.

Hollywood is supposed to be the bastion of freedom and tolerance, yet they continually bash anything Christian, and in this case Catholic.

I recorded the grammys on dvr last night I watched the Minaj preformance just to see what everyone was talking about because I missed it. I had freaking nightmares after watching it there was this guy in a purple robe the type priest would wear and a purple cone shaped hat. I have never had a dream like that before.
