Petco sued for accidently cutting off puppy's ear and then GLUING it back on and in separate incident cut off tip of dog's tail!
A Petco groomer cut off part of a puppy's ear and then tried to cover it up by gluing it back on, claims its devastated owner.

Grandmother Gladys Kapuwi, who is now suing the firm, claims she took Pomerian-Maltese mix Dodo to Petco in Hawaii for a grooming but was left horrified when the puppy was returned with a piece of its ear missing.

...

'I noticed that at home, so when I took her to the vet, the doctor had told me it looked like they tried to glue it back.

...

Mr Green told the Hawaii Star Advertiser: 'The dog was filthy and the tip of the dog's tail was cut off.

'My dog, they offered another free grooming. I guess they wanted to take off other body parts.'

No dogtard in their right mind would a) buy an pet or b) take their pet to places like Petco or Petsmart for grooming. All those big-box pet chains are bad news for a multitude of reasons.

I found a good local groomer after bad experiences with PetSmart groomers. I had nothing bad happen to my dog just crappy cuts. He is a Springer and they just want to shave them.

Accidentally nipped my dogs ear with a pair of scissors one night while grooming him. Let for a minute to get some supplies out of the first aid kit in my kitchen. When I got back the bathroom looked like a murder scene.

Bought an electric razor and some quality toe nail clippers for him. Poor guy...

But at least I didn\'t cut his damn ear off and try to glue it back on.

So, do you think dogs should only be rescued and for free?

I meant to type:

"a) buy a pet from, or b) take their pet to places like Petco or Petsmart for grooming"

"Pet shops" in general are bad places to get dogs or cats. "Factory farming" applies to animals bred for companionship just as much as those bred for food, with the difference being that the conditions of puppy mills tend to be worse due to no inspection, regulations, etc. Buy from a reputable breeder or go to the pound.

Ok glad to see that was corrected, though in the case of Petsmart and Petco they don't sell puppies or kittens, but instead work with local rescues. I'm with you about not buying a dog from a pet store, however.

He finished out the statement without writing it all out repeatedly... buy a pet AT PLACES LIKE PETCO OR PETSMART.
