Large Hadron Collider at CERN: Einstein 'was right all along'
Physicists operating the Large Hadron Collider at the CERN laboratory near Geneva may have to rethink their claim that particles can travel faster than the speed of light after a source suggested that a bad connection affected the measurements.

Seriously? They expect us to believe that crap?!?!?!

I would think a bean or flash of light could propell a particle that could be meassered rather easaly.

Who know's, probly more casino technoegy.

Why would scientists say something, then cover it up? It would be unproductive and a waste of time and money.

If you want to get your greasy mitts on some grant money, you need to worship at the altar of St. Einstein.

BEcause they released the info without informing the right people.
The high ups don't like this and told them to fix it

So this would mean every other scientist in the world that is studying this project would be hit with false information, meaning thousands of top scientists work will be completely flawed and obsolete, just because some 'high up' told them they didn't want the information to be released for reasons that would only effect their technological advancements. Please start thinking with logic before you post bullshit.

Then I imagine he is also correct in assuming that black holes do not dissipate? If so, why are they continuing these experiments?

'Faster-than-light' particles may have been even speedier"

"Subatomic particles clocked at speeds exceeding the speed of light may have been going even faster than they appeared, physicists say."

[link to www.cbc.ca]

OP do reasearch before you post misleading links.

They think they went faster than before also.

Canadian media cannot post/print/broadcast a lie so this must be true.

Einstein was never right thats why its called a theory and not a fact. It's just the best we have at this moment. Come on people go to school and learn something.

You probably know that mathematically speaking Either theory of Lawrence and Relativity Theory of Einstein are equivalent up to speeds close to the speed of light. So saying Einstein was right is the same as Lawrence was right. But Relativity theory is completely wrong at higher speed (in some vicinity of speed of light) and gives massive errors there. Fortunately for Einstein, almost 100% of events we can observe on Earth are beyond that environment so you can use its mathematics (which he actually stole word-to-word from Lawrence and Fichtenholz works without even mentioning them)

TPTB is right now getting ready to go back in time and change reality. We've defeated them and they're desperate, just like in Terminator.

yeah but not everything is a conspiracy - there is a lot of truth in what these scientists say. It would be a very safe bet to say more than half of all conspiracies are false. I am just using my own judgement mind you but lets be realistic here..

Re: Large Hadron Collider at CERN: Einstein 'was right all along'
Excerpt:

"After tightening the connection and then measuring the time it takes data to travel the length of the fiber, researchers found that the data arrive 60 nanoseconds earlier than assumed," it added.

"Since this time is subtracted from the overall time of flight, it appears to explain the early arrival of the neutrinos. New data, however, will be needed to confirm this hypothesis."

Guessing much?
