Yeah, I thought GLP was kind of a release from the BS, but half the time my heart is so heavy from what I read on here it bothers me when I leave the computer. GLP is a kind of microcosm of society, so you've got to think this is kind of the tip of the iceberg. Other times it's very cathartic, reading someone rail against something the way I want to!

Drudge got to be depressing to me. Not just the daily headlines, but his "two-headed calf" stories as we call them around here. He's turned into news with a splash of The Globe and Ripley's Believe it or Not.

It's like Savage said once on radio - and whether you like him or not you have to agree (and he gets my BS meter going sometimes too - ) he said "Sometimes you just want to go on the back deck, sit back, open a beer and wait for the bright green flash."
