There is no missing 16 Trillion. The Fed is a Bank, it made 16 Trillion worth of loans during the 2008 meltdown to keep the system from collapsing.

A: The question is, did the Fed turn a Profit?
B: Did the Fed Return 95% of that profit to the US Treasury?

By law the Fed must return 95% of it's profits from "Open Market Operations( OMO's )" to the US Treasury. Yet I have never gotten anyone to define what constitutes an OMO.

C: Does the Fed have operations that are not OMO's?

D: Sense the Fed has never been Audited, how do we know they returned the correct amount to the Treasury?

E: Sense the Fed is a Bank, and it has the power to Leverage, and it is the regulator of Banks Leverage Ratio, who regulates the Fed's leverage Ratio?

Out of all these question, the one we are going to get an Answer to is E:( None is regulating the Fed's Leverage Ratio )

We'll get that answer when the Fed is declared insolvent, and that's when they'll offer us a Monetary Union with other Nations.
