Or a gun blog but those are monitored just as harshly as this one is. Bottom line is, don't give up too much info. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10342447 Just sayn. True, but everyone asks what kind of weapon should they get. I want to know what GLP would like to put on one. AK's are very modifiable when it comes to furniture and accessories. |

Lazy_Dog (OP) User ID: 547537 United States 02/28/2012 04:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would put a synthetic stock on it with a foregrip and single point sling. No sense in changing out the internals. Maybe put some optics on it and you will have a sweet zombie killer. Quoting: BigJerm Currently I am looking at the Midwest hand guard [link to www.midwestindustriesinc.com] and the CAA grip. [link to store.commandarms.com] I have not decided on a stock nor muzzle break. Any ideas? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1691978 ^This, but also add an ICBM launcher!! Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars. I'd like to go quietly in my sleep, like grandpa did. Not screaming in terror like the people in the back seat of the car he was driving. |

It's not target shooting, it's not one sided or calm, safe shooting, you need volume of rounds downrange to push back with while they pepper you from all sides, and the first round that hits you is game over. |

This system moves the original fixed sights back further, for a rock solid aim. Much cheaper fix than Scope Optics. Peace |

Yes that is very true, however you can only carry so much ammo. I have enough to load each mag twice plus enough left over for practice. Ammo is easy for me to get if I feel I need more. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 10946210 United States 02/28/2012 05:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've used the Ultimak mount with EOTechs and Vortex red dot sights. It works really well. I prefer EOTech sights - it's more like looking through a window (instead of a tube) and the reticle is easier to pick up than just a lone dot. [link to www.ultimak.com] EOTech 552 (reticle easy to pick up and use and it uses AA batteries) [link to www.bravocompanyusa.com] A lot of people prefer the Aimpoint H1/T1 sight. It's small and you can mount it low. It also has a really long battery life. I'm not sure if you have a flash suppressor - if you don't, the AK74 style and the Noveske KX-3 work well. [link to noveskerifleworks.com] Make sure you pick the correct thread orientation and pitch. Most AK47's are 14x1 Left-Hand. |
