Since the Mayans did not account for Leap year in their calendar, the world ended about 7 months ago .....

Plus Mayans did not use the 365 day calender for anything other then crops, but (mostly) 260 days. They also knew the length was longer then 365.0 : "A period of 59 by 260 days equals a period of 42 tropical years, of 365.242 days" <which is more accurate then the count we have today.
