The man is chosen based on some kind of IQ test, and maybe also a physical tournament, like a decathlon. And women are brought to him, maybe ... when he desires them.” Ron Swanson |

Northman User ID: 1130148 ![]() 03/13/2012 06:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is definitely global warming. This has been clearly established as temperatures (globaly) have risen considerably since the beginning of the industrial revolution and particularly in the last 10 years. carbon dioxide and methane contribute to the earths warming but they are not exclusively the cause, but they are a signifcant factor in tipping the scales toward an overheating planet. |

Quoting: Northman Very true. But, not caused by anything humans did, well, miniscule. All of our solar system planets have heated up. Mars use to have icecaps at its pole...not there now. IT'S THE SUN... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1349107 ![]() 03/13/2012 07:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually, the normal at this time of year is 45 degrees, not 30 as you claim. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1349107 Oh, and tomorrows highs will be in the low 70's, not the 80's as you claim. Anyone can go to weather dot com and see that what this guy says is not true. In fact, the record for tomorrow is 77 degrees, which they doubt we will break. Nonetheless, all BS aside, it is warmer than normal. But in 1979, on Christmas day I was riding my motorcycle in Chicago and the temp was near 80 degrees. Shit happens, we only have 120 years of weather records, so who is to say what is normal? Perhaps the colder temps are not normal? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11719613 And Venus and Jupiter are chrystal clear alongwith Mars. I do not recall ever seeing these planets with the naked eye so clearly. Well, considering our sun is ALOT brighter, and our surrounding planets and moon reflect the sun's light back...it makes sense! ![]() |
