A lot of people aren't happy with the way things are going on eBay. I was looking at completed listings for a few products and noticed a lot of auctions that ended with no bids. eBay brought this problem (if it even is one) on themselves. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"... the lust for MORE MONEY can always kill a company.

Have you tried selling recently on feeBay? In their push for Amazonification, they've taken all the fun out of being a seller. They lost their focus on being the world's online yard sale, and in doing so, have run off a large portion of their sellers.

LOL awww...cmon. that was funny. but really, its because the economy is completely fucked and no one is flush with cash and credit for impulse purchases.

Whats going on with Ebay? I havent sold there for years, My buying record though is almost at 500.

Silver coins are hot on Ebay. Wish I had known to save those 1964 quarters, in 1964. Recently figured out that's why Ted Binion had all those bars of silver, I'm sure he pulled it out of slot machine change.

ebay fucked up about 5 years back with the paypal fiasco - and also they made the user home page so obscure and disorientated (by design I think).

ebay was once an awesome experience.

ebay now is Chinese knockoffs and op shop rejects...

Funny how this happens to a lot of net companies. youtube is the latest to step backwards in evolution.

Its been six years since Ive sold. Ive noticed a lot more Chinese Merchants and Ive been ripped off bad by them too with counterfeit merchandise.

Everything slow for the last 2 months.

No, many of us are doing just fine and have money to spend.

Youtube sucks now. I avoid all of the videos with commercials. It used to belong to the people and now the big corporations and their ads ruined it.

They do no screening either, Saw a woman being sprayed with horse spunk and it was getting a few million views and no one pulled it. I never clicked on it, It was obvious by the title and cover pic.

Piratebay is still up? Good.

Its going to die if the sellers dont make money. They will give up.

I bet it is the new terms and conditions paypal announced recently. They are now hokd funds for transactions for 21 days now, i think. My paypal account wasn't affected but i think if you have any negative feedback on ebay or have history of deals going sour, the new terms may apply to you. So yeah holding your money for that long after a product is verified shipped and everything is BS. Sucks for A LOT of people.

And a LOT of fake gold coming out of East Asia.


Last remote-controlled helicopter I bought (FROM A LOCAL STORE)was a copy! I know how to tell and it really ticked me off. The merchant had no clue!

What we need is a non market place internet. Strictly informational. Seperate internet for commercial. Keep them seperate.

I used to sell on eBay and loved it but cannot compete with the ASIAN markets who sell SHITTY merchandise for pennies on the dollar. They have huge sites and 10 people running each site and sell their fake merchandise for cheap. People here are so stupid they do not realize it is fake. eBay loves them because they do HUGE volume. I couldn't sell my genuine jewelry at the same prices as they sold their silver plated copper jewelry (which was listed as sterling silver) (I ran into these problems constantly and eBay just didn't care). So I finally had to stop, it ruined EVERYTHING....

Exactly, the Chinese knock off market in my opinion is a major influence in the failure of previously booming web sites. People just don't understand what they are doing to our economy by buying chinese knock offs. It effects all markets. They are knocking everthing these days.
