I have a very high arch so for walking, jogging, exercising ~ I stick with basic Nikes. I don't do well with flats. I don't know the brand you mentioned ~ they sound pretty pricey for sneakers though. I think the most I have paid for mine is around $80. |

I actually wanted Nike and Oasis but the sales person said Nike were more for show than useful exersize shoes. They had some at the store for around the same price....so it wouldnt have made any difference I wouldnt have thought...enough for her to lie anyway. I forgot how much more expensive things are in Australia :( I'm sure having flat feet makes the difference. I always heard though that good arch support is important! Maybe give your feet some more time to adjust? I hope they work out for you ~ that's a bit of $$ to spend on shoes you're not satisfied with! |

Some sneakers are just for casual use. They look nice, are very comfortable, but not made for exercise. But they also have a bunch of shoes which are specialized for certain sports and those are very good. Other brands like Reebok, Adidas, Asics have very good shoes too. Also, you need to watch where you are buying shoes because Footlocker for example only has casual shoes. If you go to a real sports store they have the other types as well.
