3 Year Old in Wheelchair Targeted by TSA

Today: Old lady with bomb, get real.

The day after: Who the hell allowed this to happen?! How could this be? Give me their heads on a platter!

I mean, really, it COULD happen.

No one has answered my question yet.
What if?

Just pretend. What if?

What would reaction be. Really. Really try to imagine if it did happen. It might not, but it could. It IS possible. It could happen using an old lady or child.

Then if it did, what would you think? What would your reaction be?

I know you'd be surprised but you'd also be mad probably that it was allowed to happen.

Ya, me too....I couldn't stand watching anymore beyond the sister stepping up there to comfort him....

And that FUCKING parent:

1- taping it as if wanting to catch some form of abuse....HEY, DUMBSHIT THAT FUCKER IS MOLESTING YOUR KID!

2- saying....oh, its alright they need to check

I'D LIKE TO CHECK THAT PARENT UPSIDE HIS BRAINDEAD SKULL!!!

That pisses me off to no end!!!!

Think about it...whomever placed the cast on the boy were not family memebers. If he had a broken leg, he was probably seen in the ER, where strangers groped him. Then the Xray technicians "fondled" him. Then he was "stripped" for surgery. The parents were NOT with him during the Xrays and in the operating room.

Now...tell me...where was the kid safer? In public with dad present and filming the TSA person , or places the parents were forbidden to be with the child in the hospital?

And where do you think the kid was more traumatized...at the airport or in a hospital while in pain?

If you want to fly, you have to go by the rules. It's as simple as that. I'm sure the parents knew going to the airport that this could possibly happen. The kid was not being molested. This was not done in a sexual way, there's a big difference. His Dad was telling him it was okay so he wouldn't freak out. Any child would feel uncomfortable with a stranger touching them, adults too. The Dad was trying to make the best of the situation. Is it unfortunate that flying as come to this extra screening and security, yes.

Take your children on local vacations... go on road trips... go camping... go fishing...
actually BOND with your children via your personal interaction with them while the family

Guys, as much as I do hate this, what if? Just what if there really was a plot?

Someone, tell me, how would you react?

Like what if it was on the news, another 9-11 style attack, and everyone is asking "How did this happen?!"

Then what if it was revealed a few days later in the headline news like this:

Old lady with bomb instead of colostomy bag was the cause of this disaster!

Or what if it were revealed:
Bomb making materials were apparently smuggled onto the plane. Our sources reveal that these were smuggled in the the diaper of baby.

What would your response be? I mean, just try to imagine that there is actually an attack on some target with thousands of people. What if it were some sporting event or the white house or anything? What would you think if this happened? It is hard to imagine because we don't have the pictures of thousands of people on the news, we don't have scenes of a twisted smoking wreak. But try to imagine how you would feel.

I would be mad that this happened. I would be very mad at the terrorists because they are the ones that make us live in fear. But I would also be mad that somehow a bomb or bomb making materials were smuggled in somehow. I would be asking who didn't do their job and how this was allowed to be.

You'd be asking it too, once it happened.


What solution then, can I offer?

Here is what I think:

1. Before boarding the plane everyone goes to a bathroom. There is a man's bathroom and a woman's bathroom for single people. There is a family bathroom for families with young children.

2. Once in the bathroom, you find sealed packages containing something like a scrub suit and something like some socks. An attendant will help you pick out your size suit for you or your children.

If you need help to dress you should have someone help to dress you. If you do not have someone to dress you, you will have to use an attendant.


You disrobe in a stall. No one can see you but they can see your feet. There are no hooks in the stall or places to store anything, just a bench to sit down on. The stalls are small but should be designed so most people can use them.

There should be an opening so an attendant can see your feet and any items you might drop on the floor so they can see that you are disrobing because they can see your pants or underwear and things on the floor.

You pass all your things under the door to the attendant and they will put them in sealed bags and mark the bags with your items. These are stored some place on the plane and returned to you after the flight.

You get on the plane wearing nothing but the scrub suit and the sock things. Extra robes or blankets should be also provided if you get cold on your flight. If you spill anything on yourself or your suit becomes damaged then the plane should have extras.

All of this will add to the cost of your flight but also I don't see how anything can be taken onto the plane because you will be disrobing and wearing a scrub suit. I also think it would provide more privacy in the long run than the searches.

It might even save money because instead of TSA they'd only have a few bathroom attendants.

But it might cost more if they have to make a lot of suits, but these could be recycled too. They should be well made to withstand wear and tear and liquids possibly being spilled on them.

Both the tsa employee and the boy's father were very calm and kind to the boy about what was going on. And The man certainly did not 'grope' the boy, he touched the boy a little bit, and also used those papers to avoid touching the boy in sensitive areas.
