I'm in Savannah, GA - I actually just posted on this (before I saw this post). I'e heard three over the past two months - the first time I heard it, I tweeted it (I since deleted the tweet, but you can google isms boom SAVANNAH and see it still there.)

I heard the first boom Feb. 16th. The second boom I didn't tweet or otherwise note, the third was March 16th, exactly one month after the first. The third boom found me here looking up booms and then googling - others have reported it too, and it made the local news.

For the record, we are located near Fort Stewart and I'm very familiar with sonic booms (you hear those a lot). This definitely was not that.

Release the Craton!

This is interesting... I too have been having vertigo feelings lately. I get motion sickness very easily and my doctors can't figure out why I'm feeling dizzy from time to time. I live in southern MI.

I'm also in SE WI. I have over the past few months felt a trembling in my office building as well as my home. It's quick, and happens maybe 1 to 2 times per month. This is starting to creep me out now.

i think the sounds heard in Clintonville are interesting enough without having to detract from it by lumping it in with some NA Craton bullshit. These sounds were specific to a 6-8 block radius in this town. not a neighboring town. not a town 1,000 miles away. just one place, in a very small area. obviously something is or was going on there - why can't that be interesting enough without people getting all retarded over it? it's like the rest of you are using something mysterious that happened to someone else and trying to script yourselves into it.

I live 30 miles from Clintonville. No booms or anything even remotely exciting here though. I don't think it's anything big like the craton shifting. It's probably the tunnels under the city finally collapsing. Very few people even remember they exist.
