Some people in Michigan went through the same booming noises and actually found a huge crack in the ground in the woods. The land rose up and heat was coming out of the crack. This happened near Menominee which is in the upper peninsula near
the Wisconsin border....not that far from Clintonville.

I think that the ground is moving.
