What role did love play in evolution ...a question for those that believe in evolution. | |

If we as human´s are evolved from primates(monkeys)why are there still monkey´s and gorilla´s around? Flawed for sure. Plus explain Sharks. Why haven´t they evolved, if evolution is a certainty, then why is it a shark has never had to evolve? There are many species with the capability for love though, certain birds will die if they lose their mate from loneliness, and not just for being alone, you could put another bird in the cage with them and they wouldn´t accept it, I feel it´s because they loved the mate who died. Dolphin´s have a very strong family bond and will mourn the passing of their mate. You cannot mourn that which you do not have love for. |

Remember ...there is no love pill and there will never be a love pill...that makes those of scientific type minds very frustrated and annoyed...They have no answer for love. And they never will. Love is a gift from God ...or as i like to call Him sometimes ...The Infinite Eternal Intangible. |

Dr Strange (OP) User ID: 40882 United States 11/13/2005 04:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Maybe in ancient primitive times things started out with lust ...but in theory lust can evolve into love....especially when its a matter of survival and knowing your partner very well. Yes i do believe in evolution ...TO A DEGREE ....God gave us the power to change to adapt. BUT he also gave us love. Remember the act of sex is far better when there is love. At least in my opinion. Now there comes the question of children ...what was conceived of in lust MUST be nurtured with love. There is a great truth and irony there huh ? |
mmmh User ID: 41136 United States 11/13/2005 06:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For the believers in evolution love must have been important. I can not imagine anything else but love being the motivator for the evolving worm to think: ´I´d love to see and hear and feel the outside world. And so, the evolutionist believes, the organs for seeing, hearing and feeling evolved. Worms just thought it a bit quiet, and dark so they brainpowered their wishes into DNA changes that caused them to grow eyes and ears. Over the years, of course! If you believe all that, IMO you have a problem. |

After a week of looking and reading we started to see Jane running. We saw a imaginary Jane in our minds eye, we saw her running. the same goes for the idea of tomorrow. Tomorrow is a mystery to the very young, but over time our mind creats a bridge so that tomorrow makes sense. Romantic love comes to us in this manner. Most little boys and girls feel nothing for each other, over time, we try to figure out what adults mean and how they get the feeling to love one another. |
