I thought I read somewhere, that the galactic federation, and the federation of light were two competing forces.

And that the federation of light was a play on words, ment to make us believes they were the good guys. but in all reality they were the evil force that has been working against us the whole time.

personally im not sold on any of this shit, but I spose the possibility exists that it is true.
