I'm not sure about this particular OP angle, but it's no longer really just about if the dead kid was doing something wrong or not. The issue is how the media is portraying this event, and what the government is trying to use this portrayal to do to the American citizen.

Again, racism is an ugly thing and it is really easy to spot. People use the defense all the time, and yeah, sometimes they use it out of line. But I am pretty certain this kid got killed for being black, and his case got mis handled because the officers and murdered involved all had the same kind of stereotypes in their head, that you have.
