Dried Up Hag User ID: 1443836 United States 03/29/2012 11:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | interesting you mention that, i've been using hemispheric synchronization CD's and they've done an amazing job at calming me. I've been using Isochronic tones for the past couple of years, (off and on). I can honestly say that it does so MUCH more completely what antidepressants, sedatives, etc. only try to do. Simple meditation, (sometimes with white noise), accomplishes the same thing. But the tones help when I'm pressed for time, (which is the norm), or when body pain interferes, etc.... |

Ozark User ID: 9696387 United States 03/31/2012 10:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks, going to try the coconut milk for my husband. Will also get some non flush niacin, see if that helps him. His is very high and we have had a hard time finding prescription meds that he can take, that actually keep it down. He has drug reactions to almost every med he tries. A little coconut milk and niacin may help with the skin/scalp itching from the BP meds.....we have to keep it BP under control, he has already had an aortic aneurysm repaired and one more they are monitering. We already switched from org. olive oil to mostly coconut oil, still use olive too, but the coconut oil in home made baked goods is wonderful. Thanks for the info OP!!! Favorite quote or Haiku, Nikos Kazantzakis " I said to the Almond tree, "Sister, speak to me of God..." And the Almond tree blossomed... |
JATMON User ID: 11923866 United States 03/31/2012 10:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No Flush Niacin. In a month it will bring it right down. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13530425 One a day. thanks But on the other thread about using niacin for depression it says to use the flushing kind. I suppose if you have both hpb and depression you could take some of each. Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid, it is true that most stupid people are conservative. Thanks for the info OP!!! no problem :) in the OP and article linked, it mentions coconut water, not coconut milk. but canned coconut milk is basically the meat plus the water together as a "milky" substance. if you can find the coconut water, i'd try that first for its high mineral content. |
