Re: Deconstructing the Myth of Overpopulation
You only need math to debunk over population.

There is an estimated 7billion in human population worldwide.

The US has a calculated 103671742065706 sq. ft.

If the entire estimated human population was placed in the US and allotted equal space each person would be in possession of 14801 sq ft.

I'll let you calculate the rest like, food, water, money.

Overpopulation is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Re: Deconstructing the Myth of Overpopulation
It is not just a problem of how much land there is per person.

It is a problem of the amount of finite resources per person.

Copper (as one example) up until the start of the Industrial they were still able to walk out to the hill and fine copper ore laying around on the ground (surface). Today we have to dig deep, real deep to reach new copper veins. Its to the point where the return on the energy investment is getting to expensive to mine copper. The real reason why the penny is no longer made out of copper is because copper is more expensive to mine.

Food: yes true, the earth sustains trillions of life forms. however they are not all eating the same thing. After all when is the last time you went out to find a fresh steaming pile of dung to dine on? Dung beetles do it all the time. Out of all of the billions of plant species, only about 100 species are plants we can eat. Other plants, ones we can't eat, have other animals that eat them.

We humans do more than just eat, we need housing, we need medicine, we need cloths, we need all of this other stuff which all requires more resources, more land area in order to either mine materials or raise plants like cotton.

We also pollute - big time. 30% of the fresh drinking water of the whole world is beyond drinking, Even boiling and filtering isn't reclaiming it. Used to be you could go to Bridal Falls Yosemite and dip your cup into the water at the base of the falls and take a deep drink. Today you try that you are likely to be very sick. And that is just in the course of 40 years.

We do not live in our ecological niche. we have expanded well out of that niche and have, through this expansion, taken over the land and resources of many other species.

From 1950 to present we have fished out 90% of the oceans. 90% of the fish stocks are gone. In less than a decade there will be whole populations of fish that will cease to exist - never to return.

No Bowyn. You're wrong.

It's not about that, no, it never has been.

If you can observe the density of the populations on an earth map with historical data you'd realize that more families are migrating to cities or industrialized areas.

It's always been about the priority of greed. We swim in it. We never cared for anyone other than ourselves. Shopping centers banks - the whole industry and the military industrial complex is our OWN reflection.

When we talk about wars, indoctrination and propaganda we usually don't know what it's all about. People repeat each others' words and when they go home they'll be one with their egos.

The problem is ego. It's what separates you from me. It's what destroys the unconditional love. You hold on to your ego, you add those conditions cause you feel warm and safe in your shell. Not blaming you though, but the social evolution brought us here we just gotta change our mindsets. And that's not happening with mere words...

Maybe you gotta see some bloody wars and watch your family die to wake up, until then you'll be sitting in front of your PC talking about homosexuality while the innocent ones who don't even know what bank is die from hunger. A lot of people die before they see their adulthood. What are you gonna do about it? Donate to money laundering charities ? HAHA! Even if these charities send a part of the money they're used for temporary solutions not permanent like farms or stuff. It's cheapest GMO food. They're sending the shittiest food. It's worse than dog food. You wouldn't even want your dog to eat it.

You people are so close minded you surprise me. Im amazed by your ignorance. It's horrifying. Housing ? Fuck off. Seriously. Where the hell have you been until this time
? Grew up in a dark cage ?

Indoctrination rules the nation. Woot. Babylon will fall down!
