I believe only taxpayers should vote. Those who pay no taxes or receive more in benefits than they pay in taxes should not vote.

They should test usage of there, their, and they're, your and you're, it's and its, which and witch, and all forms of the verb to be. Only a handful of us would be allowed to vote, and we would save the world.

If requiring people to be able to actually read and understand what they're voting on is the "stone age", then I'm all for it.

That would certainly put a turd in the demoncraps punch bowl,

But imagine if every who voted was actually an informed citizen.. We'd have a different caliber of candidates and elections would be so much more...democratic.

I recall the polls on Obamacare.. People didn't know that Obamacare and the affordable care act were the same thing.. They only knew the so called benefit that healthcare was supposed to be more affordable but couldn't tell you how.. These people are voting and they end up hurting us in the long run

I totally disagree with using literacy as a pass, though. We have loads of Ph.D. and M.D. types that are nothing short of raving Marxists.

The Founding Fathers had it right: if you have an economic interest in how this nation performs, you vote.

The word "proletariat" the Marxists used originated in ancient Rome as those who did not have capital enough to EARN the vote, but whose main contribution was their labor.

It all goes back to what Aristophanes and Edward Gibbon wrote: the feminizing influence of the Christian church which started with Spurgeon and many 'christian' women insisting ALL men were drunks, and ALL drunk men beat their wives, and therefore ALL men beat their wives. Therefore, stupid evil men should relinquish control of the political system to morally superior women, resulting in the 18th, and most damaging, the 19th Amendment, which made us a democracy.

Democracy doesn't work. Never has, never will. But the cultural change required to just hand out the vote to women (and men, too) who never EARNED it simply paved the way to make us a Welfare State which history shows ALWAYS happens when women get the vote just because they're women.

The Greeks were the first to record this trend 2,600 years ago, and nothing has changed.
