MTV airing Holocaust commercials?

So why has MTV aired Holocaust commercials?



What is the point of this?! It's coming out of no where for some reason. Is this to mess with our heads? Or is this some contrived act that by the very act of mentioning it before it happens makes people more comfortable in it not happening? Like I can see it now. Jersey shore is on a commercial break and then these commercials are aired in between as sort of a subliminal sedation and, although it makes you think for a few seconds, Jersey shore comes back on and you quickly store those Holocaust thoughts to the back of your mind. So somehow the very act of showing something serious and then completely mind numbing kind of discredits the seriousness of the message, and so the thought of some Holocaust-type thing happening is psychologically correlated with a Jersey Shore like attitude towards it; therefore, the actual purpose of the commercial was already planned to be taken lightly. Hopefully somebody understands me and can word it better. But it's definitely alarming, and MTV out of all networks. Makes you REALLY THINK!
