"Manifest Destiny" and that=Harsh Reality=Earth life...
The Mystery of Life continues to confront our consciousness...

Re: You name the crisis, the war, the abusive state, and they all claim in some form it is something along the line of "Manifest Destiny" and that=Harsh Reality=Earth life...
Overt Consent required? NO!...

"Why do you want to conquer and enslave me?...Because I can, that is all the law and right I need...simply because I can.", from The Void Unplugged...C. 2005

--------

"It is notable that many people worldwide are frustrated, tired, and extremely anxious about the life we live....seems it could be a little simpler...a little less ego, a little less greed, and a little less King of the Hill confrontations between the have and have nots, one would think...perhaps?

Utopia may be a far cry from reality, but seems a worthwhile goal if we only get partially there, or perhaps we shall surely "hang together..." What do you say!

Certainly, one would be negligent to try to extract some reality from what appears to be an impossible to achieve utopian dream, as one must always be mindful that this current earth reality we seem to all be a part of is basically a "consuming environment".

The challenge before us seems to always be that of self control, as we strive to survive in a highly competitive environment, and also be honorable and just with our fellow man.

Self control, yes, sounds good, seems like the right thing to strive for, a noteworthy display of a higher level of consciousness and regard for life.

However, I am perplexed in my older days. Every cell in my body depends on surviving from the detoriation and consumption of other cells. Every notable creature on earth depends on the termination of one life form for the survival of another...a curious kind of scenario indeed, as one must finally ask that all important question...

....At what point can I justify the Killing of something else for my own survival, yes, I said Killing with a capital "K",...

...and still respect and demand freedom for all things and people...but do we dare include the mere "freedom" for everything to exist?

Hmmm...do we really mean that...wouldn´t that really imply that I just signed my own death warrant?...No more Consuming, no more eating, drinking, certaom;y no "Killing" of conscious beings, No More Consuming all those things required for the continuation of life as we know it...unkess Of course I have the "Overt Consent" of that little pea in my pea soup, or that chunk of loin on my grill, or that sweet plum on the table for breakfast...ad infinitum...So, what do you say?

Freedom to exist...now just where does that idea start, and where does it end,...and

"Who" makes the call?

Extrapolate that out a bit into any scenario you like...and the same question demands a rather akward response at best...well, we use reason and balance...but let me ask you...how far do we go in being fair...how far do the French rioting masses go in being fair for an instance?

How about the ole´ bottom line deal, you know...the ole´, "You or Me"...who shall be last to leave?

Are the hungry and abused masses in the world doing anything un-natural, or actually doing anything different than the rich guys do...Both want something, both need something, both will abuse, destroy and kill if that is required. so, who is the worse culprit in the scenarios...them or them?...thee or me?

Aren´t we just observing nature doing what it does...survival of the fittest, and one can couch that within any contest they wish, but the answer still presses against our nose, and we each find ourselves the victims of our own anxiousness and unrest...as our cells ache to survive one more moment...

...at All and Any Cost..."

Yeah, none of us ASKED to be here, God decided to "create" and now we´re just supposed to "deal with it."

There´s no point to ANY of it.

Work all your life, then die, come back and DO IT AGAIN.

BIG DEAL, put me back into the Void.

Fine by me.
