Anonymous Coward User ID: 5040935 United States 04/08/2012 11:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Maybe I just haven't said anything that's on the black list yet, but I always post what I really think in exactly the terms that I think it. If I said that every idea I had was 100% original and not influenced by any of the great teachers and friends I've had in my life, I'd be lying; but I'd also be an egomaniac. We all stand on the shoulders of those who came before. |

As in a place where we all express our own ideas and thoughts, no one more valuable, or knowledgeable or special than anyone else... A true coming together of humans. ^^THIS^^ is what church was supposed to be. Too bad we've strayed far from it, except for some rare exceptions. We become like that to which we are devoted. - Choose wisely. |

There's always someone who thinks he's especially "in the know", and is not satisfied contributing to the general conversation, but only happy when he's persuaded someone else over to his point of view. Generally, a needy, invalidated person. Last Edited by Celia D. on 04/09/2012 05:08 PM |

Generally, a needy, invalidated person. I've heard it called "the mutual accommodation of self-need." Some "need" to teach; others "need" to be taught. Some "need" to lead; others "need" to be led. Not a particularly healthy scene. We become like that to which we are devoted. - Choose wisely. |

To develop trust so that anyone can say anything without being judged. There are no goals, not even a scheduled meeting date/time. It just seems to happen every month or so. We gather together not because we have to but because we get to. We become like that to which we are devoted. - Choose wisely. |
