Hunting Season, Florida Castle Doctrine   HAAAAHAAAA! Who puts a scope on a shotgun???? The same kind of person that puts it on a submachine gun. It's most likely an ACOG or similar and it would be for precision aiming. Possibly for flechette rounds or similar. Are you used to sawed off shotguns? EDIT: I apologize. After looking at the photo and the wire coming from the back of what you said to be a scope I concluded that it was actually a laser sight or flashlight. (Most probably the latter)
