There are 100 senators, of which a majority are presently Republican. A majority of the senators would be 51, which means that a few Republicans could have sided with the minority to create a majority, it hardly implies that ALL the Republican senators were in agreement.

I am as much a conservative ideologically as anyone could possibly be. I believe in strict adherdance to the letter of the Constitution, I believe abortion on demand is premeditated murder, and that the right to keep an bear arms is a cornerstone to a truely free society. I do not believe in the expansion of the federal government because I am a conservative, and this is the MAIN reason BUSH CANNOT BE A CONSERVATIVE.

I have however found that political conservatism is being used as a disguise for what is actually fascism in America.
Neoconservative contains the word conservative and has republican constituents, who historically were conservatives. These people have been hoodwinked.

A true conservative is annoyed by government interference, and by basic principals wants a smaller less intrusive government. How does this relate to neoconservatism?
Isn´t the neoconservative movement the exact equivelent of the Nazi party in Germany? Wasnt Hitlers party actually translated "the german nationalist socialist party"?
