WARNING !! Prediction... Tornados and Earthquakes this week

Interesting. Seems the only "Prediction" threads that get responses are by those making outlandish predictions based on strange "self taught" systems.

I guess predicting things due to statistics and admitting it is considered foolish?

Well your guess is as good as mine for predicting any type of doom, but your right about this week since this Friday is the second Friday the 13th of the year.

There is to be 3 of them and the last one in Jan. saw the watery grave of that cruise ship Concordia and this next Friday the 13th is two days before the 100 yr. Anniversary of the S.S. Federal reserve aka Titanic.

So ya this week will prove to be eventful in some fashion, just can't get a bead on what it may be........... To be cont.........

Both could happen. I check the USGS all the time and it seems like we can't go two weeks anymore without a decent sized EQ- usually somewhere 'round the Ring of Fire. We just had the full moon at that.

I have an unscientific bad feeling about the West Coast of South America. There was a really deep quake (over 40 miles down) mag. 5.4 I think, just offshore in Peru yesterday. The news articles are saying the dolphin die off (thousands of them) is because of equipment used in oil drilling- but what if it's actually massive seismic shifts?

As for tornados, this is the time of year. The bad tornado in Alabama last year was on April 27. I don't live in Tornado Alley, but we had 3 "get in the basement" events last year. My preparedness task for the week is to get everything it would be useful to have during/after a big storm organized in one place in the basement, and just keep it there.

You were right. (hope you're wrong about the tornadoes, but this time of year who knows?)

What has been happening every week?

6.0 earthquake? Check USGS, It had been over 10 days since the last earthquake of that size had occurred.

Tornado in Oklahoma? Do some research.

Now let me explain something.
I made this prediction semi "tongue in cheek".
I was trying to show how easy it is to make predictions based on statistics only.
It had been longer than normal between 6.0 earthquakes. Oklahoma was over due for a tornado.
It's not some psychic ability to predict these things. It just takes looking at statistics and then using common sense.
