What is wrong with that. I see nothing wrong with that at all. They need to have a case not fall apart and put this guy behind bars. This girl probably said she didnt want to appear but she is their best witness and she has a responsibility to the other people that he has harmed and will do in the future. This is the right thing to do under the circumstances.

wow I can't believe you agree with this. If she doesn't want to appear that's her decision. You'd understand a bit if you'd been through a rape.

JAIL is NOT the place to put someone for this.
Maybe a place like a rehab or one of those places suicidal kids go... but NOT JAIL.

Inconvience to the witness, wtf.

She has now been raped twice, once by the perp and once by the state.

No matter how bad they want to put this guy away, it should never supercede the rights of the victim.

It's fucked up. But there must be a reason why they think she won't show up for the trial. Rape victims will never get over it until they face their rapist and help put them in prison. Or just kill them. Maybe that's why, she said she would kill the rapist.
