Even if he was, how would he stand among men ?

The world is full of bad-asses, loud, confident and arrogant.

The Nobody could only stand out from the crowd by not being one too, which is the opposite of the expectations we've placed on him.

Somebody is always looking to play " King of the Hill ", and always looking to be top dog.

Would the Nobody have any interest in playing such petty games ?

I would think the Nobody is sitting back and chuckling about all this.

..I mean, if he existed and all that, hypothetically.

I would totally agree with you, if he really did exist. In my view, the first thing that would have had to be accomplished was ridding the self of ego.
 Quoting: Swinging on Spirals

Just pretend he doesn't exist.

Pretend that everything he told you came from your own mind and thought process.

Don't even worry about him. He told you things you already know deep within

In this battle between Christ and Lucifer, the Nobody is the one saying not to believe in the Lord/Allah-big brother paradigm. It is this belief that enslaves you, this grouping of the deities of the bible, which is what closes the door to Heaven in your face upon death.

[link to www.fatimamovement.com]

Christ is God. The coming Jesus of the morning star is your permanent enslavement. Good luck.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8240137

Enslavement???

This civilization shouldn't need any law, other than "Treat your neighbor as you want to be treated."

Law was originally for the disobedient assholes
 Quoting: +Jason+ 6457323

When someone passes to the other side, a question is asked which determines your eternity. If you answer as I have said, things will be better for you than if you answer, Christ is the son of a burning bush. If your god is fire, you will feed the flames.

"Christ" tells you NOT to jump on the bed because you will fall and get hurt, while "Satan" tells you "Jump on the bed"

"Satan" is a condition within us that we naturally follow, until the outcome shows us our lesson.

You know, the other thing I was thinking about..

This person would have to constantly explain and defend himself.

There would be literally billions of people that would demand explanations, or displays of some sort of imagined " super-powers " that he might have.

People would want to take him home, take samples and souvenirs, hurt or kill him, argue with him, love him, hate him, the demands would never stop.

He'd be torn to pieces by the very people that waited for him.

There are no agreements on who it would be as a person, and he'd not be the type to jump up and shout " I am the Nobody, listen to me ! ".

In essence, he could already be here, and it's only the eyes of mankind that cannot see him because they have blinded themselves.

He would surely be amused, I know I would be.

Re: Dear "The Nobody"
Enough of this b#@ls*t!! We are all "nobody until somebody loves us. And we all especially feel like a "nobody" when the one we love leaves us behind!!
That said you all need to either quit Philosophy class and do something useful or else do more homework. You are all becoming Neitzchitards. If you want to go esoteric don't start out so arrogant as to believe that you are already "God" and "Nobody" else is! I recommend some reading to put things into perspective although it is not my own personal "truth" only an interesting perspective; which may be place into the context of present day events:

1. Azuritepress.com Summaries 1&2
2. The Terra Papers by Robert Morning Sky
3. Alien Interview by Matilda MacElroy O'Donnell
4. The Emerald Tablet of Thoth the Atlantean -Bibliotecapleyades.net

If there is a "Heaven" awaiting us all or even a "hell", then it is of our own individual and collective creation. That would be the responsible approach. However our collective power will always outweigh our individual power. Divide and conquor tactics are the oldest trick in the book. If humanity has any hope it will be "together" as a people not as continuously warring classes, clans or tribes. Time for us all to grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You won't have to deal with him, we all get to deal with ourselves.

So tell me, would you get along with...yourself?

Many would say "yes, because it's me" but think again.

As things came full circle in my life, I saw that I was like a brick wall running into itself.

It's taken me almost 40 years to realize that I am not the most worthless person on the planet.

Why so long ? 1dunno1

...you don't just go to the bottom of the barrel, you lick it clean. And then you rise again, and then back for more of the barrel.

Over and over and over.

Rinse and repeat.

Sometimes for many lifetimes.

Eventually, by suffering the extremes, we can truly find the real value in living.

To answer your question, ~ Yes, but only by remembering that we are just reflections of each other, and the inner world we hang onto becomes the outer world we live in.

It's just what works for me.

The Nobody might tell me something different, but until then, this works.

Why would he be frightened? Supposedly he is Mr. Badass.

I tend to agree with your take !saac.

What would this person, if they exist, have to gain by coming forward? Just look at how childish and combative people become when the subject is brought up.

This person's life would likely be difficult enough without any additional fanfare. About the only useful purpose GLP might serve to the nobody would be to practice tolerance as they read the hate and drivel that is spewed here.

I wouldn't expect the nobody to hold a voice chat coming out party until such time that GLP grows up and members can show a modicum of respect to each other. Maybe requiring everyone to register before they post would eliminate some of the problem. Maybe I'm just dreaming.

 Quoting: Anonymous 14232010

But......We are creating here......
Not sure what us few people here. Discussing this topic, would make any difference in the world anyway.
