Why how kind of you to say so M'Lady. It's really good to see you! I missed you! I thought If I put it into a different frame it may make a more efficient impact than "Doom On-Blah Blah Blah Insert Date Here Threads". It seems to have worked well. Will it change the world? Doubt it. Perhaps a few readers will step back and take an honest look. Perhaps not. I wrote it from the heart and I suppose a person cannot go wrong when speaking from the heart ey? Nick®  True and so eloquently states how so many of us feel. The "doom" is arriving a such a rate that individual threads cannot keep pace. I think many of us have gone quiet to physically & psychologically prepare. I know I have. No excess energy to deal with trolls or the "Ask me a question about my bodily appendage" threads. Glad to see everyone is still very much here.  I had someone, just a few days ago, ask about the two of you. Know that you're both missed, but it's certainly understandable to have to take a break every now and then. God knows I sure needed it. I still appreciate a good ask-me-about-my-appendage thread every now and then, though. Is it longer than a baby's arm and shaped like a Nike swoop?  Lady Jane is right though. For a long time I've been sitting back reading and not initiating threads. Like Professor Jane, I have began to ration my food intake to begin preparing to avoid the shock of exponentially fewer calories available for my intake. I've been walking peanut (Dog) at the park at night and doing cardio to physically prepare for the singularity we all know is coming. I have also like you and Jane both mentioned been taking breaks so that I can mentally and psychologically prepare for said singularity. Our brains are overloaded with various forms of entertainment all day and every day. When we reach the aforementioned singularity many will go absolutely crazy for the simple fact that their cell phones don't work. Nevertheless the complete lack of any form of electronic entertainment. Can either of you imagine the horror of gaggles of 14 yr olds running around with non functioning cell-phones?  It will be like packs of badgers....  Nick® My daughter will go fully catatonic. As for me, I think the quiet will be welcome -- the quiet, not the starving, violence & all the ensuing craziness until things return to a state of equilibrium.
