People need to stand up for their rights instead of having the GOV'T say that they .....

Yes folks read it and weep - no choice, no rights, and NO shit YOU will do what they tell YOU to do! The corruptness of the individuals who designed the "PIECE OF SHIT ACT" is exactly that...But in a pile the size of the Gov't waste that created such. If you think that the person or people who submit to a life of politics are looking for doing good to the PEOPLE who they SERVE - you are a sheeple and must have your head so far up you tight sheep ass...If politicians have your best interest in mind you would see more balance in the the haves anf the have nots....

So after my soap box ranting in hind sight we have lost our rights that our ancestors fought for many moons ago AND are losing the fight to keep these secure for our sons/daughters, grandkids and future generations. Our Forefathers saw this long ago and GAVE US RIGHTS FROM A CORRUPT GOV'T which try in every way to keep THE PEOPLE an arms lenght away from them.

Nick, all I could do for the last 10 minutes was sit here and cry. You have put to words, this ache in my heart.

Those in my circle, capable of facing this truth at all, are horrified, angry and confused by the lack of outcry. Most of us are older and simply don't know what to do beyond writing letters and trying to get past our children's wall of denial.

More than a few of us would gladly offer all we have if Anyone of Honor were trying to give this grand dame a transfusion to save her.

I'm not sure how, this piece was completely original. Feel free to use plagiarism software to confirm. Truth be known the idea came from the movie with John Cusac called Serendipity. Johns best friend in the movie played by Jeremy Piven wrote an obituary for John after he lost the love of his life. I used the idea of writing an Obitz for our way of life. There's the truth. Wow. I'm amazed at the critiques. The OP speaks volumes for most (if not ALL) of us.

If you are this so full of angst and just have an innate need to vent, how 'bout starting with: the Constitution (Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion and Petition ) ending with "Pledge of Allegiance" (....with liberty and justice for all)

That will keep you busy for weeks.... tearing apart those babies!

Your welcome....though, I feel it's over. Not for Lady Liberty, which resides in most of our hearts/spirits, but as an institution/country.

Thanks so much for the kind words AC. You're dancing all around an excellent point. Part of our problem is centered around this very phenomenon. More often than not, folks are missing the sum of the message and dissecting the constituents of said message. As result (in the real world) others capitulate and change the details. This warps the whole message and eventually it is lost or eradicated. Notice how all of the critiques that have been negative tend to focus on one minute part rather than the message as a whole? Good points for sure AC. Thanks for your passion and concern. I promise though, I will not capitulate.

To be honest, I'm really not sure. I hope for all of our sake's that you are correct. As for Ron Paul. He's truly the last hope this country has to return to liberty and justice for all. Thanks again for your very astute replies.

Not to condone their unsavory behavior but I think so many people are just so angry, that they can't put their finger on 'why'
So....when the opportunity presents itself (an open forum where your anonymity is cloaked and protected) they tend to act out like a 5-year old in need of a nap. For a 5-year doesn't know why he's acting out when he's tired...he just feels a need to express his discomfort.

This country will never be what it was promised to be by the Founders.

We're in a literal unwind and down whirl spiral. Like a healthy shit being flushed in a toilet.

Much of this came on the morning of Sept 11th. Perhaps the critiques are a bit too young and weren't directly effected by that day?..... and are just caught up now in the throes of this dismantling? I don't know but that's my guess.

My life changed before my eyes that morning. I am a mature, passionately pissed off woman who is watching this world purge and merge and it's not beneficial to any of us. Just an agenda that doesn't include us.

We're relinquishing our liberty's way too freely all under this false presentation and guise of some bogus national security.
