Metatron's Cube in a kid's show? | |

A few years ago, there was a show called Yu-Gi-Oh. In the show was something called the Seal of Orichalcos, and it stole the soul of whoever lost whatever game was played in it. [link to fc03.deviantart.net] Now, compare that to Metatron's Cube: [link to en.wikipedia.org] You have the interweaving pattern of a triple-layered 6-pointed star (three 6's, eh? hmmm...) in both...as well as the soul-trapping ability of both... Coincedence or purposeful on the part of the show's creators? You decide.  |

I don't know if the Metatron thing is good or bad - I generally think knowledge of anything is better than ignorance of it. BUT, some of the images and storylines in kids shows are very questionable, and seemingly irrelevant to the point that t heir appearance in the show seem odd at best. Look for yourself at: The Adventures of Finn and Jake - WTH even IS this? The Mis-Adventures of Flapjack - creepy old man, little boy, running off together to "candy island"? OKAY. There are more, but....well, they're just weird. |
