Record snow-pack last yr, all the Lakes were still full by the end of last summer..even Shasta Lake, which often is reduced to a puddle by then.

We are only about 9inches below normal..plenty of storms coming before June and the dry season. Last yr we had rain during the summer, not typical.

Going to be interesting to see how how hot it gets in Redding this summer, normal temps are often over 100 F.

Glad my home is at 4,500 ft where the nights are often in the 40's to 50's during the summer. We get a few 90 F days, mostly it stays around the mid-70's.

The last two summers have been unusually mild for the Shasta County area as well.

Shasta Lake's water levels were at record lows just a few years back, but it has since recovered... I just don't see this winter (or lack thereof) being a possibility for the water disappearing...

Where there is smoke, there is fire. ...usually. Sometimes it's just potheads but usually it's fire.
