METASYSTEM TRANSITION

A Metasystem Transition is the emergence, through *rapid* evolution, of a higher level of organization.

Prime examples are the origin of life, the transition from unicellular to multicellular organisms, and the emergence of symbolic thought.

A metasystem is formed by the integration of a number of initially independent components, such as molecules, cells or individiduals, and the emergence of a system steering or controlling their interactions. As such, the collective of components becomes a new, goal-directed individual, capable of acting in a coordinated way. This metasystem is more complex, more intelligent, and more flexible in its actions than the initial component systems.

Conclusion:

The situation that has been created here in our Heliosphere is of external, Interstellar, cosmic space origin,and is herein assumed to be caused by the underlying fundamental auto-oscillation, space-physical, processes of continuous creation that has shaped, and continues to evolve our Universe. The present excited state of our Heliosphere exists within the whole, or entire, organism that makes up the Solar System; the Sun, Planets, Moons, Comets, and Asteroids, as well as the plasmas, and/or electromagnetic mediums, and structures, of Interplanetary Space. The response to these Interstellar energy and matter injections into our Heliosphere has been, and continues to be, a series of newly observed energetic processes and formations on all of the Planets; between the Planets and their Moons, and the Planets and the Sun.

Earth's ability to adapt to these external actions and transference's is aggravated, made more difficult, by the technogeneous alterations we have made to the natural quality, or state, of our geological-geophysical environment. Our Planet Earth is now in the process of a dramatic transformation;by altering the electromagnetic skeleton through a shift of the geomagnetic field poles, and through compositional changes in the ozone, and hydrogen, saturation levels of its gas-plasma envelopes. These changes in the Earth's physical state are being accompanied by resultant climatic/atmospheric, and biospheric, adaptation processes. These processes are becoming more and more intense, and frequent, as evidenced by the real time increase in "non-periodic transient events"; ie., catastrophes. There are reasons favoring, or pointing to, the fact that a growth in the ethical, or spiritual quality, of humanity would decrease the number and intensity of complex catastrophes. It has become vitally important that a world chart be prepared setting forth the favorable, and the catastrophic, regions on Earth taking into account the quality of the geologic-geophysical environment, the variety and intensity of cosmic influences, and the real level of spiritual-ethical development of the people occupying those areas.

It is reasonable to point out that our Planet will soon be experiencing these new conditions of growing energy signifying the transition into a new state and quality of Space-Earth relationship. The living organisms of those regions of Earth having the major "inlets", or attractions, for cosmic influences will be taking the lead in evolving life's appropriate reactions, or processes, to these new conditions. These zones of vertical commutations and energy transfers are already becoming the heart, or hotbeds, in the search for new systems of adaptation and mutual transformation.

The most significant of these areas are the helio-sensitive zones which have intense responses to geoeffective solar activities [Note #1]; responses that include the very dramatic and unusual manifestation of non-homogeneous vacuum, or classical non-mechanical ether, domain structures. These structures, or objects, then interact with the heliosensitive zones producing deep and powerful effects upon the environment such as the alteration of seismic activities, and chemical compositions. Because these non-homogeneous vacuum domain objects display not-of-this-physical-world characteristics such as "liquid light" and "non-Newtonian movement" it is difficult not to describe their manifestations as being "interworld processes". It is important to note that those heliosensitive zones that exhibit middle and large scale processes are also those that are closely associated with these "interworld processes" produced by physical vacuum homogeneity disturbances.

Such disturbances cause, and create, energy and matter transfer processes between the ether media and our three-dimensional world. The multitude of such phenomena, which is rich in it's quality and variety, is already growing quickly. Hundreds of thousands of these natural self-luminous formations are exerting a increasing influence upon Earth's geophysic fields and biosphere. We suggest that the presence of these formations is the mainstream precedent to the transformation of Earth; an Earth which becomes more and more subject to the transitional physical processes which exist within the borderland between the physical vacuum and our material world.

All of this places humanity, and each one of us, squarely in front of a very difficult and topical problem; the creation of a revolutionary advancement in knowledge which will require a transformation of our thinking and being equal to this never-before-seen phenomena now presencing itself in our world. There is no other path to the future than a profound internal experiential perception and knowledge of the events now underway in the natural environment that surrounds us. It is only through this understanding that humanity will achieve balance with the renewing flow of the PlanetoPhysical States and Processes.

Terrestrial atmospheric effects induced by counterstreaming dense interstellar cloud material

Abstract

The Solar System during its life has travelled more than 10 times through dense interstellar clouds with particle concentrations of 102-103 and more, compressing the heliosphere to heliopause dimensions smaller than 1 AU and thus bringing the Earth in immediate contact with the interstellar matter. For cloud concentrations greater than of 102 , the flowing interstellar material even at the Earth`s orbit remains completely shielded from solar wind protons and would only be subject to solar photoionization processes. We have developed a 2D-two-fluid gas-dynamical numerical code to describe the hydrodynamical behavior of the incoming interstellar gas near the Earth, taking into account both the photoionization and the gravity of the Sun. As we show, the resulting strongly increased neutral hydrogen fluxes ranging from 109 to 1011 cause substantial changes in the terrestrial atmosphere. During the phase of the immersion into the cloud the resulting flux of neutral hydrogen incident on the terrestrial atmosphere in the steady state would be balanced by the upward escape flux of H-atoms and the downward flux of water molecules, which is the product of the atmospheric hydrogen-oxygen chemistry via even-odd reaction schemes. In that case hydrogen acts as a chemical agent to remove oxygen atoms and to cause ozone concentration reductions above 50 km by a factor of 1.5 at the stratopause to about a factor of 1000 and more at the mesopause. Thus, depending on the specific encounter parameters the high mixing ratio of hydrogen in the Earth's atmosphere may substantially decrease the ozone concentration in the mesosphere and may trigger an ice age of relatively long duration.

1 Introduction

From time to time, the Solar System on its galactic itinerary encounters various galactic objects, e.g. spiral arms (Leitch & Vasisht 1998; Shaviv 2003), star clusters and associations (Innanen 1996), galactic diffuse clouds (H I) and giant molecular clouds (GMC) (Talbot & Newman 1977), etc. Although all encounter probabilities are finite, only a few of them are high enough to make it worthwhile to consider them. All of these mentioned events correspond to different mean travel times of the solar system between consecutive encounters with the corresponding objects, e.g. depending on their distributions in the galactic plane, their sizes and their peculiar velocities. For example, neutral H I clouds, having a mean number density in the range from 10 to 100 and a radius of about a few pc, are objects fairly frequently encountered by the Sun, perhaps over 100 times since its birth 4.6 Gyr ago. The more dense GMCs, having densities of 103 or more, probably must have been encountered by the Sun about 5-10 times (see e.g., Talbot & Newman 1977). When such events happen (especially in the case of GMCs) the solar wind expansion region must be reduced to small scales, and the flow of solar coronal matter hence must be deflected into the heliotail within distances of less than 1 AU. Thus the Earth under these conditions should inevitably be immersed in the direct flow of the cloud material (see Yeghikyan & Fahr 2003), at least during its upwind orbital passage. Concerning this aspect it is interesting to note that Wimmer-Schweingruber & Bochsler (2000) have recently given clear hints that gas constituents implanted in cristalline surface layers of lunar soil grains can be taken as a record of encounters with dense interstellar clouds.

Heliospheric Response to Different Possible Interstellar

ABSTRACT

At present, the heliosphere is embedded in a warm low density interstellar cloud that belongs
to a cloud system flowing through the local standard of rest with a velocity near ∼18 km s−1. The
velocity structure of the nearest interstellar material (ISM), combined with theoretical models
of the local interstellar cloud (LIC), suggest that the Sun passes through cloudlets on timescales
of ≤ 103–104 yr, so the heliosphere has been, and will be, exposed to different interstellar environments
over time. By means of a multi-fluid model that treats plasma and neutral hydrogen
self-consistently, the interaction of the solar wind with a variety of partially ionized ISM is investigated,
with the focus on low density cloudlets such as are currently near the Sun. Under
the assumption that the basic solar wind parameters remain/were as they are today, a range of
ISM parameters (from cold neutral to hot ionized, with various densities and velocities) is considered.
In response to different interstellar boundary conditions, the heliospheric size and structure
change, as does the abundance of interstellar and secondary neutrals in the inner heliosphere,
and the cosmic ray level in the vicinity of Earth. Some empirical relations between interstellar
parameters and heliospheric boundary locations, as well as neutral densities, are extracted from
the models.

1. INTRODUCTION

The heliosphere is a low density cavity that
is carved out from the local interstellar medium
(LISM) by the solar wind. The size and particle
content of the heliosphere are determined by the solar wind – LISM interaction, and they
vary in response to the Galactic environment of
the Sun as the Sun and interstellar clouds move
through space. The path of the Sun has taken us
through the Local Bubble void, and we have recently ( <&#8764;
103 &#8722;105 yr ago, depending on
cloud shapes and densities) entered a clumpy flow
of low density interstellar material (Frisch 1994).
This clumpy flow, the “cluster of local interstellar
cloudlets” (CLIC), is flowing away from the
Sco-Cen association and extends 10–30 pc into the
Galactic center hemisphere and <&#8764;
3 pc for many
directions in the anticenter hemisphere.


6. For encounters with a high density interstellar
cloud (&#8764;15 cm&#8722;3, about 50 times the
contemporary value), the particle fluxes arriving
at Earth orbit, including interstellar
neutrals, neutral solar wind, and cosmic rays
will increase markedly. These changes potentially
affect Earth’s atmosphere and its
climate. The changes in particle fluxes just
due to a higher interstellar velocity are less
pronounced.


7. For the period when the Sun was embedded
in the Local Bubble, particle fluxes were
reduced substantially. Secondary particles
like anomalous cosmic rays and neutral solar
wind were entirely absent, and the galactic
cosmic ray flux arriving at Earth was comparable
to the contemporary flux, or even reduced,
depending on the modulation model.

Neutral hydrogen surveys have been made to search for dense cloudlets within the Local Bubble, but none have ever been detected by this means, at least in non-ionized hydrogen gas to which the 21-centimeter observations are the most sensitive. The existence of a cloud or clouds near the Sun has, however, been established by what are called solar backscatter observations in which the lyman-alpha emission from the Sun is reflected back to the Earth from distant material outside the solar system. There is, apparently, a medium called the Local Fluff in which the solar system is embedded, which has a density of about 0.1 atoms/cc, a temperature of 10,000 K, and a relative velocity with respect to the solar system of about 20 km/sec based on a slight doppler shift in the reflected emission. McClintock and his coworkers in 1978 used data from the Copernicus satellite which involved measuring the Local Fluff towards stars with distances between 1.3 and 14 parsecs, and concluded that the Local Fluff extends about 3.5 parsecs. Frisch and York, in 1983, surveyed 140 stars out to several hundred parsecs from the Sun and detected a pattern of emission that indicated a dense cloud located about 17-35 parsecs from the Sun towards the Galactic Center in Sagittarius. In a 1983 Nature article ( vol 302, p. 806) Francesco Paresce proposed that the Local Fluff is the low density, ionized outer layers of this cloud, and that the SUn has just recently entered the outer regions of this dense cloud.

Astronomers Priscilla Frisch and Daniel Welty at the University of Chicago announced at the June, 1996 meeting of the American Astronomical Society ( see the New York Times, Science Supplement, June 18, issue) recapitulated the earlier proposal that the Sun may have already entered the Local Fluff a few thousand years ago. Observations by Dr. Jeffrey Linsky at the University of Colorado of 18 nearby stars indicated that the Local Fluff cloud surrounding the solar system was not a uniform cloud, but contained cloudlets of very different internal density with one of these located between the Sun and the nearby star Alpha Centauri.

Astronomers John Watson and David Meyer at Northwestern University have also discovered that in the Sun's vicinity, the interstellar medium is filled with many cloudlets with a size comparable to the solar system. Radio astronomers have also observed the phenomenon of interstellar scintillation in the radio signals from distant quasars, and deduced that the interstellar medium is far from smooth, but contains clumps and filaments at many different scales.

The solar system is, apparently, moving along a path that is certain to take us closer to the Sco-Cen expanding superbubble. The 'wall' between the Local Bubble and the Sco-Cen bubble now seems to consist of an increasing density of cloudlets of varying size and density. The Sun, after apparently spending many hundreds of millennia in quieter regions of the Local Bubble, is apparently now moving nearer one wall of this cavity towards us from the direction of Scorpio/Centaurus. Rather than a smooth wall of material, it consists of many individual pieces and cloudlets. When the solar system enters such a cloud, the first thing that will happen will be that the magnetic field of the Sun, which now extends perhaps 100 AU from the Sun and 2-3 times the orbit of Pluto, will be compressed back into the inner solar system depending on the density of the medium that the Sun encounters. When this happens, the Earth may be laid bare to an increased cosmic ray bombardment. To make matters worse, the Earth's magnetic field is itself decreasing as we enter the next field reversal era in a few thousand years. If the Earth's field is 'down' during the same time that the solar system has wandered into the new could, the cosmic ray flux at the Earth's surface could be many times higher than it now is.

The biological effects may not be so severe. We just don't really know. Fossil records show that in previous field reversals, there was hardly a sign of any biological impact caused by species extinctions or mutations. We don't really know when the last time it was that our solar system found itself in a dense interstellar cloud, so we cannot look at the fossil record to see what effects this might have had. Since all of the major extinctions seem to be related to tectonic activity, or to asteroid impacts, there isn't much left over to argue that there will be a dire effect of the next cloud passage upon the biosphere. If you believe our knowledge of the solar vicinity, the next cloud passage could happen within 20 - 50,000 years. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Scientists from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Southwest Research Institute, and Boston University suggest that the ribbon of enhanced emissions of energetic neutral atoms, discovered last year by the NASA Small Explorer satellite IBEX, could be explained by a geometric effect coming up because of the approach of the Sun to the boundary between the Local Cloud of interstellar gas and another cloud of a very hot gas called the Local Bubble. If this hypothesis is correct, IBEX is catching matter from a hot neighboring interstellar cloud, which the Sun might enter in a hundred years.

First full-sky maps of the emissions of energetic neutral atoms (ENA), obtained last year by IBEX, showed a surprising arc-like feature called the Ribbon. This astonishing discovery was later announced by NASA as one of the most important findings in space exploration made in 2009. Shortly after the discovery six hypotheses were proposed to explain the Ribbon, all of them predicting its relation to processes going on within the heliosphere or in its neighborhood. In a paper recently published in the Astrophysical Journal Letters, a Polish-US team of scientists led by Prof. Stan Grzedzielski from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, offers a different explanation. "We observe the Ribbon," says Grzedzielski "because the Sun is approaching a boundary between our Local Cloud of interstellar gas and another cloud of a very hot and turbulent gas."

December 23, 2009: The solar system is passing through an interstellar cloud that physics says should not exist. In the Dec. 24th issue of Nature, a team of scientists reveal how NASA's Voyager spacecraft have solved the mystery.

Astronomers call the cloud we're running into now the Local Interstellar Cloud or "Local Fluff" for short. It's about 30 light years wide and contains a wispy mixture of hydrogen and helium atoms at a temperature of 6000 C. The existential mystery of the Fluff has to do with its surroundings. About 10 million years ago, a cluster of supernovas exploded nearby, creating a giant bubble of million-degree gas. The Fluff is completely surrounded by this high-pressure supernova exhaust and should be crushed or dispersed by it.

"The observed temperature and density of the local cloud do not provide enough pressure to resist the 'crushing action' of the hot gas around it," says Opher.

The Fluff is held at bay just beyond the edge of the solar system by the sun's magnetic field, which is inflated by solar wind into a magnetic bubble more than 10 billion km wide. Called the "heliosphere," this bubble acts as a shield that helps protect the inner solar system from galactic cosmic rays and interstellar clouds. The two Voyagers are located in the outermost layer of the heliosphere, or "heliosheath," where the solar wind is slowed by the pressure of interstellar gas.

The fact that the Fluff is strongly magnetized means that other clouds in the galactic neighborhood could be, too. Eventually, the solar system will run into some of them, and their strong magnetic fields could compress the heliosphere even more than it is compressed now. Additional compression could allow more cosmic rays to reach the inner solar system, possibly affecting terrestrial climate and the ability of astronauts to travel safely through space. On the other hand, astronauts wouldn't have to travel so far because interstellar space would be closer than ever. These events would play out on time scales of tens to hundreds of thousands of years, which is how long it takes for the solar system to move from one cloud to the next.

Cosmic rays, along with other forms of radiation like X-rays and gamma-says, can also cause genetic mutation, but this is not a major concern for humans and animals that do not go into space.

Summary, dense space clouds comes, pushes heliosphere back and weakening it, allowing the Earth to be partially or fully exposed to interstellar matter and energy. We see an "unexplained" abundance of isotopes like beryllium, helium and lithium, amongst others like neon.

Cosmic rays have a primary role in the formation of the lithium, beryllium, and boron in the universe, through the process of "cosmic ray nucleosynthesis". They also produce some radioisotopes on Earth, such as carbon-14. In the history of science, cosmic rays were the source of the high energy reactions that resulted in the discovery of the positron, muon, and pi meson. The radiation from cosmic rays composes a large part of natural background radiation on the surface of Earth. It is far more intense outside the Earth's atmosphere and magnetic field, and because it is very difficult to shield against, is expected to have a major impact on the design of spacecraft that can safely transport humans in interplanetary space.

Knowledge is both objective and subjective because it results from the interaction of the subject (the cybernetic system) and the object (its environment). Knowledge about an object is always relative: it exists only as a part of a certain subject. We can study the relation between knowledge and reality (is the knowledge true or false, first of all); then the subject of knowledge becomes, in its turn, an object for another subject of knowledge. But knowledge in any form (a proposition, a prediction, a law), irrespective of any subject is a logical absurdity. A detailed development of cybernetic epistemology on the basis of these definitions is critical for the formalization of the natural science and natural philosophy, and the interpretation of mathematical systems.

3. Freedom, will, control

Cybernetic metaphysics asserts that freedom is a fundamental property of things. Natural laws act as constraints on that freedom; they do not necessarily determine a course of events. This notion of freedom implies the existence of an agency, or agencies, that resolve the indeterminacy implicit in freedom by choosing one of the possible actions. Such an agency is defined as a will. A will exercises control over a system when the freedom of that system is constrained by actions chosen by the will.

4. God

We understand God in the spirit of pantheism. God is the highest level of control in the Universe. God is for the Universe what human will is for human body. Natural laws are one of the manifestations of God's will. Another manifestation is the evolution of the Universe: the Evolution.

5. Metasystem transition

When a number of systems become integrated so that a new level of control emerges, we say that a metasystem has formed. We refer to this process as a metasystem transition.

A metasystem transition is, by definition, a creative act. It cannot be solely directed by the internal structure or logic of a system, but must always comes from outside causes, from "above".

6. Evolution

The metasystem transition is the quantum of evolution. Highly organized systems, including living creatures, are multilevel hierarchies of control resulting from metasystem transitions of various scales.

Major evolutionary events are large-scale metasystem transitions which take place in the framework of the trial-and-error processes of natural selection.

Examples include: the formation of self-duplicating macromolecules; formation of multicellular organisms; emergence of intelligent organisms; formation of human society.

7. Human intelligence

Human intelligence, as distinct from the intelligence of non-human animals, emerges from a metasystem transition, which is the organism's ability to control the formation of associations of mental representations. All of specifically human intelligence, including imagination, language, self-consciousness, goal-setting, humor, arts and sciences, can be understood from this perspective.

8. Social integration

The emergence of human intelligence precipitated a further, currently ongoing, metasystem transition, which is the integration of people into human societies. Human societies are qualitatively different from societies of animals because of the ability of the human being to create (not just use) language. Language serves two functions: communication between individuals and modeling of reality. These two functions are, on the level of social integration, analogous to those of the nervous system on the level of integration of cells into a multicellular organism.

Using the material of language, people make new --- symbolic - models of reality (scientific theories, in particular) such as never existed as neural models given us by nature. Language is, as it were, an extension of the human brain. Moreover, it is a unitary common extension of the brains of all members of society. It is a collective model of reality that all members of society labor to improve, and one that preserves the experience of preceding generations.

9. The era of Reason

We make a strong analogy between societies and neural, multicellular organisms. The body of a society is the bodies of all people plus the things made by them. Its "physiology" is the culture of society. The emergence of human society marks the appearance of a new mechanism of Universal Evolution: previously it was natural selection, now it becomes conscious human effort. The variation and selection necessary for the increase of complexity of the organization of matter now takes place in the human brain; it becomes inseparable from the willed act of the human being. This is a turning point in the history of the world: the era of Reason begins.

The human individual becomes a point of concentration of Cosmic Creativity. With the new mechanism of evolution, its rate increases manifold.

10. Global integration

Turning to the future we predict that social integration will continue in two dimensions, which we can call width and depth. On the one hand (width), the growth of existing cultures will lead to the formation of a world society and government, and the ecological unification of the biosphere under human control. The ethics of cybernetical world-view demands that each of us act so as to preserve the species and the ecosystem, and to maximize the potential for continued integration and evolution.

11. Human super-beings

On the other hand (depth), we foresee the physical integration of individual people into "human super-beings", which communicate through the direct connection of their nervous systems. This is a cybernetic way for an individual human person to achieve immortality.

12. Ultimate human values

The problem of immortality is the problem of ultimate human values, and vice versa.

Living creatures display a behavior resulting from having goals. Goals are organized hierarchically, so that in order to achieve a higher-level goal the system has to set and achieve a number of lower-level goals (subgoals). This hierarchy has a top: the supreme, ultimate goals of a creature's life. In an animal this top is inborn: the basic instincts of survival and reproduction. In a human being the top goals can go beyond animal instincts. The supreme goals, or values, of human life are, in the last analysis, set by an individual in an act of free choice. This produces the historic plurality of ethical and religious teachings. There is, however a common denominator to these teachings: the will to immortality. The animal is not aware of its imminent death; the human person is. The human will to immortality is a natural extension of the animal will for life.

13. Decline of metaphysical immortality

One concept of immortality we find in the traditional great religions. We designate it as metaphysical. It is known as immortality of soul, life after death, etc. The protest against death is used here as a stimulus to accept the teaching; after all, from the very beginning it promises immortality. Under the influence of the critical scientific method, the metaphysical notions of immortality, once very concrete and appealing, are becoming increasingly abstract and pale; old religious systems are slowly but surely losing their influence.

14. Creative immortality

Another concept of immortality can be called creative, or evolutionary. The idea is that mortal humans contribute, through their creative acts, to the ongoing universal and eternal process -- call it Evolution, or History, or God -- thus surviving their physical destruction. This uniquely human motive underlies, probably, all major creative feats of human history.

15. Cybernetic immortality

The successes of science make it possible to raise the banner of cybernetic immortality. The idea is that the human being is, in the last analysis, a certain form of organization of matter. This is a very sophisticated organization, which includes a high multilevel hierarchy of control. What we call our soul, or our consciousness, is associated with the highest level of this control hierarchy. This organization can survive a partial --- perhaps, even a complete --- change of the material from which it is built. It is a shame to die before realizing one hundredth of what you have conceived and being unable to pass on your experience and intuition. It is a shame to forget things even though we know how to store huge amount of information in computers and access them in split seconds.

16. Evolution and immortality

Cybernetic integration of humans must preserve the creative core of human individual, because it is the engine of evolution. And it must make it immortal, because for the purpose of evolution there is no sense in killing humans. In natural selection, the source of change is the mutation of the gene; nature creates by experimenting on genes and seeing what kind of a body they produce. Therefore, nature has to destroy older creations in order to make room for the newer ones. The mortality of multicellular organisms is an evolutionary necessity. At the present new stage of evolution, the evolution of human-made culture, the human brain is the source of creativity, not an object of experimentation. Its loss in death is unjustifiable; it is an evolutionary absurdity. The immortality of human beings is on the agenda of Cosmic Evolution.

17. Evolution of the human person

The future immortality of the human person does not imply its frozen constancy. We can understand the situation by analogy with the preceding level of organization.

Genes are controllers of biological evolution and they are immortal, as they should be. They do not stay unchanged, however, but undergo mutations, so that human chromosomes are a far cry from the chromosomes of primitive viruses.

Cybernetically immortal human persons may mutate and evolve in interaction with other members of the super-being, while possibly reproducing themselves in different materials. Those human persons who will evolve from us may be as different from us as we are different from viruses. But the defining principle of the human person will probably stay fixed, as did the defining principle of the gene.

18. How integration may occur

Should we expect that the whole of humanity will unite into a single super-human being?

This does not seem likely, if we judge from the history of evolution. Life grows like a pyramid; its top goes up while the basis is widening rather than narrowing. Even though we have seized control of the biosphere, our bodies make up only a small part of the whole biomass. The major part of it is still constituted by unicellular and primitive multicellular organisms, such as plankton. Realization of cybernetic immortality will certainly require some sacrifices --- a vehement drive to develop science, to begin with. It is far from obvious that all people and all communities will wish to integrate into immortal super-beings. The will to immortality, as every human feature, varies widely in human populations. Since the integration we speak about can only be free, only a part of mankind -- probably a small part - should be expected to integrate. The rest will continue to exist in the form of "human plankton".

19. Integration on the Cosmic scene

But it is the integrated part of humanity that will ultimately control the Universe. Unintegrated humanity will not be able to compete with the integrated part. This becomes especially clear when we realize that the whole Cosmos, not the planet Earth, will be the battlefield. No cosmic role for the human race is possible without integration. The units that take decisions must be rewarded for those decisions, otherwise they will never take them. Can we imagine "human plankton" crowded in rockets in order to reach a distant star in ten, twenty or fifty generations? Only integrated immortal creatures can conquer the outer space.

20. Current problems

At present our ideas about the cybernetic integration of humans are very abstract and vague. This is inevitable; long range notions and goals may be only abstract. But this does not mean that they are not relevant to our present concerns and problems. The concept of cybernetic immortality can give shape to the supreme goals and values we espouse, even though present-day people can think realistically only in terms of creative immortality (although -- who knows?).

The problem of ultimate values is the central problem of our present society. What should we live for after our basic needs are so easily satisfied by the modern production system? What should we see as Good and what as Evil? Where are the ultimate criteria for judging social organization?

Historically, great civilizations are inseparable from great religions which gave answers to these questions. The decline of traditional religions appealing to metaphysical immortality threatens to degrade modern society. Cybernetic immortality can take the place of metaphysical immortality to provide the ultimate goals and values for the emerging global civilization.

21. Integration and freedom

We are living at a time when we can see the basic contradiction of the constructive evolution of mankind very clearly: it is the contradiction between human integration and human freedom. Integration is an evolutionary necessity. If humanity sets itself goals which are incompatible with integration the result will be an evolutionary dead end: further creative development will become impossible. Then we shall not survive. In the evolving Universe there is no standstill: all that does not develop perishes. On the other hand, freedom is precious for the human being; it is the essence of life. The creative freedom of individuals is the fundamental engine of evolution in the era of Reason. If it is suppressed by integration, as in totalitarianism, we shall find ourselves again in an evolutionary dead end. This contradiction is real, but not insoluble. After all, the same contradiction has been successfully solved on other levels of organization in the process of evolution. When cells integrate into multicellular organisms, they continue to perform their biological functions--metabolism and fission. The new quality, the life of the organism, does not appear despite the biological functions of the individual cells but because of them and through them. The creative act of free will is the "biological function" of the human being. In the integrated super-being it must be preserved as an inviolable foundation, and the new qualities must appear through it and because of it. Thus the fundamental challenge that the humanity faces now is to achieve an organic synthesis of integration and freedom.

Neutrinos and Superstrings

The physical agent that implements the characteristics described by the Human Design System is a sub-atomic particle called the neutrino. The neutrino was predicted in 1930 on purely theoretical grounds. Although its existence was proven in 1953, scientists thought that it had no mass. In 1987, when the Human Design System came into being, it stated that neutrinos imparted changes to our DNA, but it wasn't until ten years later that scientists confirmed that the neutrino does actually have a very small mass. The discovery that the neutrino has mass is important, because it lends credence to Human Design's assertion that neutrinos interact with our DNA.

According to superstring theory, neutrinos (and all other sub-atomic particles) are themselves composed of vibrating strings. These strings are unimaginably small, and their differing vibrations create all of the particles and energy that make up the universe. Needless to say, sub-atomic physics is a very difficult subject, but all we need to understand for this discussion is that neutrinos have a small mass. In other words, even though they are incredibly small, they aren't weightless and they do interact with other objects in our three-dimensional world.

The universe is filled with billions and billions of neutrinos traveling through space at nearly the speed of light. They are so small that they pass through planets and people with ease. There is no "neutrino shield." They pass through everything. One source of neutrinos is stars. The intense nuclear fusion reactions that power the stars create all kinds of sub-atomic particles, including neutrinos. These neutrinos race out in all directions bound for the edge of the universe.

We are constantly bombarded by these neutrinos. To get an idea of how many neutrinos pass through us each second, imagine that a neutrino is a molecule of water. Now imagine that you are standing at the bottom of Niagara Falls. The shower of neutrinos is immense. Unlike standing under a waterfall, the shower of neutrinos comes from all directions so that we are soaked in their flow.

According to Human Design, these neutrinos have properties or characteristics. These properties may be caused by the vibrating superstrings that compose neutrinos, and the properties may be shaped by the stars that create them. When neutrinos pass through an object, their properties are modified, and the objects through which they pass are also changed. Large objects, like planets, have a significant effect on the properties of the neutrinos that pass through them.

Planetary Influence on Neutrinos

Some of the neutrinos that reach the earth have passed through the moon or one of the planets taking on characteristics unique to these heavenly bodies. As these neutrinos pass through our bodies, they impart characteristics to us. Some stages in our development, such as birth, are extra sensitive to the influence of neutrinos. That is why the positions of the sun, moon and planets are important at the time of our birth.

This explanation of the mechanism that underlies the Human Design System, also explains astrology. The sun and moon are very important in astrology. The sun is very large and is a source of neutrinos. The moon is very close to the earth and a significant percentage of the neutrinos that hit the earth have passed through the moon. The more distant and smaller planets will have a smaller number of neutrinos passing through them to the earth.

The sun, moon and planets influence us through the stream of neutrinos that pass through them and into our bodies. In Human Design, the earth is also very important, because a large percentage of the neutrinos that pass through us have passed through the earth. Neutrinos come from all directions, not just the sky.

Throughout history, things that were once considered to be magic have become science after discovering the mechanism underlying the phenomenon. Things that were once thought to be superstition have become science as human knowledge expands. Solar neutrino in relation to solar wind particles

A relationship was found earlier (Basu, 1982, 1992) between the solar neutrino flux and the flux of solar wind particles received on the Earth. However, the data used in these analyses have recently been revised and extended. This prompted us to re-examine the relationship using the new updated solar neutrino data base. The present analysis confirms the earlier findings and establishes that the two quantities are related at statistically significant levels. This suggests that the two may have a common cause of origin in the interior of the solar atmosphere and needs further investigation.

Astronomers studying Galactic Center report that it periodically becomes extremely active. During these episodes, it spews out fierce barrages of cosmic energy equal to thousands of supernova explosions. These outbursts are the most energetic phenomenon in the known universe. A growing number of researchers such as Sergey Smelyakov, author of a fascinating paper entitled “The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Factor,” in addition to many indigenous peoples worldwide, theorize that as Galactic Center becomes more energized, it catalyzes human evolution through frequency emissions in the form of higher-dimensional “torsion” waves transmitted to Earth via the sun.

Recalling the aether theories of Kozyrev, fellow Russian scientist Sergey Smelyakov's research demonstrates that the harmonic vibrations of phi, also referred to as the Golden Mean and Fibonacci sequence, inform the very fabric of space-time. Mathematically, the Photon Band appears to be structured on phi, producing set cosmic intervals. Torsion energy spiraling as the Photon Band from the creative consciousness at the Core of our universe: the Photon Band is composed of swaths of lesser and greater density of torsion waves manifesting as higher-dimensional light. As our solar system orbits episodically into galactic regions characterized by greater density of torsion waves (i.e., greater light or consciousness), which it is currently doing, life on our planet, including the living organism that is Earth, is intelligently stimulated to evolve in spectacular ways not only physically but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

In humans, evolutionary activation occurs as torsion waves stimulate transposons or “jumping DNA” to rewrite the genetic code–a phenomenon supported by a considerable amount of scientific evidence. Bruce Lipton's research unambiguously affirms that cells possess the ability to reprogram their own DNA, with measurable physical results such as otherwise inexplicable dietary modifications in organisms, when environmentally prompted. Dr. Lipton hypothesizes that such rewriting, which is typically beneficial, accounts for up to ninety-eight percent of evolutionary transformation.

Similarly, in a concise but excellent study entitled “Retrotransposons as Engines of Human Bodily Transformation,” biochemist Colm Kelleher addresses the subject of radical genetic adaptation or evolution as a result of what he terms a “transposition burst.” “If one were to hypothesize a transmutation of the human body,” writes Dr. Kelleher, it would be necessary to orchestrate a change, cell by cell, involving the simultaneous silencing of hundreds of genes and the activation of a different set of hundreds more. A transposition burst is a plausible mechanism at the DNA/RNA level that could accomplish such a genome wide change. Transposition bursts comprise the concerted movement of multiple mobile DNA elements from different genetic locations to new positions, sometimes on different chromosomes … Human DNA contains an abundance of the necessary genetic structures to accomplish a transposition burst involving hundreds, or even thousands, of genes.

Referencing a particular DNA sequence containing three different transposon families arranged in beadlike formation, Kelleher theorizes that owing to its tripartite configuration, this DNA sequence would be “an effective participant in large scale transposon mediated genetic change that eventually results in transformation of the human body.”

Perhaps the most undeniable evidence supporting the concept of a torsion life-wave or Photon Band of universal creative consciousness energetically directing the spontaneous formation and development of Earth species comes from Tim Harwood, who calls attention to one of nature's more miraculous phenomena. After caterpillars form their chrysalis during metamorphosis, it is a little-known but very relevant fact that they completely dissolve into a soup of amino acids before reassembling into butterflies. This soup contains no recognizable cells or DNA as it is currently understood, but when the time is right, the torsion life-wave signals the DNA to recombine and, within a matter of days, cells emerge to create new life-forms.

Harvard professor of astronomy Robert Kirshner has remarked that “supernovas created the elements we take for granted–the oxygen we breathe, the calcium in our bones, and the iron in our blood are products of the stars.”

Fascinatingly, Fritz Albert Popp's research in biophotons describes the dying process of cells as virtually identical to that of stars. Just before dying, cells transform into “supernovas” as the light they emit increases in intensity a thousand times before being suddenly extinguished. On a related note, and just as extraordinarily, Galactic Center, our point of origin, is located in the constellation Ophiuchus, “the serpent bearer,” an obvious reference to the spiraling, serpentine helixes of DNA. Here, in ancient symbolism, we find a direct link between the creational torsion waves emitted by Galactic Center and the DNA molecule to which, by all indications, they give rise.

The Vedics were well aware of such an “ener-genetic” connection between Galactic Center and DNA as well as of the many cycles of time ending around 2012, employing the term somvarta to describe the intelligent waves of Core energy responsible for the spontaneous evolution of species.

Another ancient concept, the Golden Mean, precisely defines the mathematical relationship between “above” and “below.” The DNA molecule is minutely structured on phi or the Golden Mean, measuring 34 x 21 angstroms for each full helical spiral. Concordantly, the average mean orbit of each of the planets moving away from the sun is also a Fibonacci sequence that translates to almost exactly 1.6180339.

Far from being a sign of the apocalypse, according to Dr Carter the supernova will provide Earth with elements necessary for survival and continuity.

MESSAGE FROM OUR GALACTIC CENTER

On March of this year, physics professor and astronomer Scott Hyman of Sweet Briar College made a startling announcement. Dr. Hyman and his colleagues wrote in the science journal Nature that they had detected something very extraordinary at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy. While analyzing low frequency radio wave images taken by the Very Large Array telescope at Socorro, New Mexico in 2002, Dr. Hyman and his his fellow researchers detected an intermittent signal that seemed intelligently directed. The signal consisted of five highly energetic radio emissions of equal brightness that lasted 10 minutes each and appeared every 77 minutes over a 7-hour period from September 30 to October 1. The discovery has left Professor Scott Hyman and the entire astronomy community "scratching their heads".

Information Theory is built on the probability of occurrence of a given signal. How often does it occur, and how often does it have a relationship with other signals in that occurrence? If you plot the probability of the words occurring in a sentence or a paragraph which contains information (makes sense) to the words then you will a straight line with a slope of 45 degrees. On the other hand if you just use some random words and try to do the same you will a get a straight line with slope as infinite (i.e. a line parallel to the horizontal axis).

This theory was discovered while trying to decipher Dolphin language.

Be it any language human, animal or even alien there are always a set of common and uncommon words. So we can actually tell whether a set of symbols is information or not without really knowing what the words really mean. This 45-degree slope appears for any message in any language, in any medium.

DNA WORMHOLES AND HYPER-COMMUNICATION

Wormholes are the microscopic equivalents of the so-called Einstein-Rosen bridges in the vicinity of black holes (left by burned-out stars). This is great stuff OP. You probably remember sometime last year there as a massive gamma ray burst from a star in the constellation Draco, which was headed right in our direction, and lasted longer than any GRB ever seen.

Could be some perfect DNA coming our way!!
