Forget about calendars based on the moon. The Sun and Jesus Christ is where the light of God is at.

The Sun is the true light. Jesus is the true light. Without the Sun the Moon would just be a dark dead rock in space. With the Sun we can see that the moon is a dead rock in space. The Sun is what allows physical life on Earth, so it makes sense that God and Jesus Christ spiritual life things would be on a Sun based calendar system.

Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Sun of righteousness is Jesus Christ.

Sin was the name of the ancient moon god. Get saved from Sin.
