The likelihood that Martin double-backed to confront Zimmerman is FAR FAR FAR greater than there being any other explanation for having a dozen pieces of women's jewelry and a large flathead screwdriver in your backpack at school than having used the screwdriver to break into someone's home or car to steal the jewelry. ESPECIALLY when said items were found directly after having vandalized school property.

You seem a bit more familiar with facts than emotions here. What do you think really happened? I'm leaning towards Zimmerman trying to find out where TM went after GZ got out of his vehicle after the 9-1-1 call. GZ headed toward the rear entrance/exit, and TM was along the walk towards his condo. If TM had just gone to the condo, he would still be alive. TM was apparently laying low, and when GZ crossed back across the sidewalk that is when the altercation started. TM cold cocked him, got on top of GZ and banged his head on the sidewalk. While they were struggling, TM noticed the gun, and in the wrestle for the firearm, GZ shot TM. As far as GZ saw things, having been beaten already, GZ had reasonably concluded that if TM got the gun, TM would have shot him. Reasonable self defense.

As far as the 'girlfriend's testimony, she stated TM pulled up his hoodie because TM was being followed, but in reality the hoodie was already up because it was raining, and GZ did not know the ethnicity since he couldn't see TM's afro hair. GZ's voice sounds more anxious and worried than that of someone stalking another on racial profiling grounds with the intent to kill, knowing he was armed.

We'll know more soon enough, but what was initially reported as a hate crime by a white, and later a white/hispanic to stoke racial tensions by an all too willing MSM in search of creating a story rather than reporting an unfortunate death is a crime costing MSM what little credibility it had, especially ABC news and all its "exclusives."

Where the prosecution goes from here should be interesting. The 'girlfriend' who was so bereaved she sought medical attention is inconsistent from the impressions of her twitters. Hospital records should be on file for her. The defense needs a strong showing at probable cause, the prosecution needs a much stronger show of evidence on such a weak witness at the time of the incident. Cashing in on a civil case of wrongful death is the only motivation the Martins have left, and as that was more than likely not their intent when legal council was retained to establish the truth, now the Martins will realize how they have been played in a role they never wanted in the first place.

The definition of 'coward' also applies to those who live in lily-white communities, see themselves as being so tolerant and worldly about culture in America, but would become shell shocked and slap-happy if they had to deal with 'gangsta' behavior on a 24/7 basis.
