The Great Monarch Prophecies... setting up Catholic allegiance to the Anti-Christ?

I've looked into this Great Monarch thing,
and it has some interesting lateral connections.

I don't think he dies when he "lays down the crown and scepter" but I think he gets a name change and becomes Ogmios.


Nostradamus describes the coming of a great scientific genius that will help rebuild human society. From CENTURY IV-31: "This man...will be one of the highest, most developed geniuses ever to appear in our present history of man. He...made the decision to use his genius to help rather than to hurt mankind...One of the things he envisions...is self-contained, self-supporting space stations...It was very easy for him to spot this man along the nexus of time paths because he creates such a large ultimate effect...This man is one of the major forces who will help the earth recover from the scars of war."

This great genius will be influential in pointing out the mistaken premises that today's science has built itself on. His ability to perceive scientific truths will cause major breakthroughs in our technological capabilities. From CENTURY VII-14: "[He will] make clear the connections between the physical universe and the metaphysical universe as dealt with by religions." Because of these great advances, Nostradamus describes a time when a majority of people will be aware of higher powers and energies: "It will make every person a philosopher." What kind of time frame are we looking at here? Nostradamus reported that this great genius will show up in the mid-twenty-first century.

* Also the Great Monarch is supposed to come just before the Anti-Christ in Catholic prophecy. In Biblical prophecy, the Anti-Christ comes before the return of Jesus... setting up Jesus to be viewed as the Anti-Christ in Catholic prophecy.

All strangely similar to the 12th Imam prophecies... can't put those peices together quite yet though.

This is making some sense... uniting of RCC and Islam. But I'm not following the two beast deal. I'm assuming this is Adventist end-times interpretation, right? Is one of them the Anti-Christ? Both? Neither? Do you believe in a literal human Anti-Christ?

The pre/post/during antichrist stuff,

but I think when he lays down his crown
the antichrist springs onto the world scene

You have made good points but you fail to distinguish two things:

1) the CONQUEST of the old roman empire MADE by the Great Monarch for reasons of freedom and justice.

2) the INHERITANCE of the old roman empire USED by the Antichrist for his own evil purposes.

There are two different figures. The Antichrist comes AFTER the Great Monarch as it is said in the same propheties you are refering to.

You should notice that the CONQUEST of the old roman empire will come AFTER it is INVADED by foreign armies coming from Muslim countries and Eastern countries destroying every people, especially the christians and their priests, and infrastructures. There will be chaos! That's why the Great Monarch has to conquer them back!

When you offer us a tiny part of the whole story to come, avoiding to depict it in its entirety, it's logic to mix the Great Monarch and the Antichrist. I can't help to invite you to study every step of the whole story described in the propheties and the Bible.

All will be clear once the Great Monarch will declare he is the lieutenant of Christ, working for Him. Doing so, he can't be the Antichrist.

I will follow Jesus as He is the Christ. I will follow the Paraclet of Jesus as he is the Paraclet sent BY Jesus (Paraclet = William) BUT YOU will follow the Antichrist as if he was Jesus since, like so many others, you will believe that the first avatar to come (William) is the Antichrist, and the second avatar (the real Antichrist) as the Christ, when in fact he will be the real Antichrist, thanks to the deception of Satan who knows the Scriptures more you would think.

Satan expects from you that you do so because the Christ is supposed to come just after the AC to defeat him. But, in fact, the story of the Bible speaks about THREE PEOPLE! As a matter of fact, there will be TWO WITNESSES : WILLIAM & KATE. The two of them will be of divine nature. You forgot Kate. If she is of divine nature too, once changed and blessed by the Heaven, how your story could work? There is then a misconception in your assumption.

From the heaven / sky WILL COME a king of terror.

It means that nothing will happen in July 1999, but that date is the starting point of the coming of the king of terror, AKA the death symbol, AKA the number 13 (death is the 13th card of the tarot).

Also, note that "roy d'effrayeur" could mean "roy qui defraie (la chronique)", meaning who is a great BUZZ subject among the people.

Every expert of Nostradamus knows that he used to hide symbols in his quatrains. When a lot of people expect "a great king of terror" to be a person, he metaphorically speaks about a cycle of 13 years, as if it was HADES, the King of the deads, in order to protect the secret of the Great Monarch to come, the new king Arthur, the only legendary european King ever.

Death (XIII) is the thirteenth trump or Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks.

The king is trampled by a reaping skeleton horseman, as the Pictorial Key to the Tarot describes him, which appears to be a personification of death.

what it looks like to me is false religions and their leaders will rush to fill the void after the bride of Christ meets the bridegroom. the Holy Spirit is inside of believers -- the bride -- and He goes with us. without the active role of the Holy Spirit it will be hell on earth.

I will add a couple things. Christians may not necessarily seem like good people. it is the mere presence of the Holy Spirit within us that restrains even worse evil.

the other thing is the Holy Spirit will still be accessible during Daniel's 70th week -- however He will be imparted rather than sealed withing believers. today we are sealed with Him as a down payment and a guarantee. but there won't be this guarantee during the final 7 years.

this is where people seem to get confused reading prophecies. some are aimed at us, the church. some are aimed at the jewish people. and some are aimed at end time believers during the 70th week. we have to sort out who's who and know who God is speaking to. blurring the distinctions leads to error.

more is being revealed but at this point unfortunately we are still fuzzy on who the antichrist is and where exactly he comes from. and the second beast aka false prophet where he comes from. there is room for debate.

mainly through all this we HAVE to keep our eyes FIXED on Jesus Christ -- just as a sailor has to keep his boat pointed at the star, or we can end up on the rocks, at least prediction wise. we've seen too many false teachings crash, yet adherents cling to the wreckage.

Notice, you don't mention Protestantism and their Sunday service with a Bible sermon, no. Satan and the anti-Christ and the false Pope wish to take down the RCC because it is the true faith.

The "abomination of desolation" and the "continual sacrifice" are written of together in Scripture. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the greatest form of worship, it is the "continual sacrifice." When the words of consecration are changed, no Eucharist, this is the "abomination of desolation."

Don't mention Daniel if you can't name the "continual
sacrifice." There is no "sacrifice" in Protestantism nor
a priesthood to offer "sacrifice." The same for Judaism
at present as there was in the Old.

The whole christiandom would surely be disappointed if THE ONLY SIGNIFICANCE OF THE BRIDEGROOM WOULD BE, not the church, BUT THE WIFE JESUS-CHRIST HAD IN HIS TIME.
