Conservatism was invented by the plutocrats that now run our government, lead our Congress, and control 90% of the entire country's wealth.

Progression and liberalism are a threat to the plutocrats, since they are paradigms of reinforcing the standard of living for the middle class and poor; which leaves the plutocrats with less political power, less corporate control, and ultimately less profit.

The plutocrats clearly understand that the best way to keep the middle class and poor off their back, is to get them to fight with each other. Right wing radio came on to the scene more than 20 years ago and has now infected every form of media and has successfully amplified the anger and animosity between common people.

The middle class and poor have become so brainwashed by the right wing media, that they vote, rally, and rebel against their own best interests in exchange for the pavlovian hate that the plutocrats feed them.

Pathetic state of affairs.
