I just uploaded pics of Object in southern sky that keeps getting larger

Pictures of venus are always welcome.

I just went to the Gallery and didn´t see anything in Space or UFO´s categories. Am I looking in the wrong place?

might take 4 or 5 days

actually I out them in the UFO section of user photo album, thought that was as agood as any place

by the way, most of the other pics from page 1 & 2 are mine as well, much UFO activity over lake Erie

When comparing to the tree limbs in forground of pic # 1, it DOES look large; almost as though you were seeing the moon. BUT, low angle also means some enlargement from atmospheric refraction.

The last two statements should bring out the debunkers, en Mass, LOL.

Yeah, see that in NZ. Been watching it evernight for over a year now. It is so bright that I was able to capture it on my cell phone.

Actually, the thing is even more freaky big and bright when it get´s a little lower in the tree line, it looks like it is in our atmosphere.

Hey the next clear night, i will go out into my back yard and take sme new shots from the same location, we can then compare them to these and see if it is actually getting larger?

Remember a couple of years ago when there was a lot of chat about telescopes and observers in Antarctica?

I´m expecting something major as a sort of public announcement of the arrival of the Light, something that forces people to see there is no going back to the old ways.

I have no idea if this is it or not, but it could be.

If there is a huge bright object in the sky, why is no one else talking about it?

This kinda thing should be serious, especially if its apparently been there for a year!

Can you upload a shot from the same angle with the same tree in it at around sunset so we can get a bearing on it.
Or even better hold a compass in the shot.

The next clear night I will do that,I live in Cleveland which is right on Laker Erie. If I am looking strait at the lake, that is North, this object would be to your left which would put in in the Southern sky as seen from Cleveland Ohio if that helps locate where this object is.

These shots were taken around 7:oo PM´ish
and you can see where it is in the sky, should make it easy for somebody to say for sure if it is a planet or not, I really don´t think so. I know for sure it is not Mars because I can watch Mars follow this object. As for Vesus, I´m not sure. All I know is I have never seen ANY star this bright and I am 37 years old.

I have never seen them twinkle blue, green, red, gold either, which is more & more

This object looks really big. Is it there every night and does it move like the stars/planets along the sky?

Maybe you should grab some good binocs or telescope and take a closer look and tell us what you see.

I actually have a nice Telescope, It just looks like a huge ball of Light, very Bright as you can see.

Yes it is huge, I have seen it there the last few months and it has definitely gotten bigger. It is strange, I have actually filmed other objects in the night sky that also look like they are effecting the Atmosphere the same way this object seems to be, click on the color shot to see what I am talking about.

Anyhow, I will get a still shot from that footage and upload it. Kinda looks like the same thing but even mor colorful. That is how I am getting these pics by the way. It is a Sony Digital Camcorder on a tripod.

I up uploaded a pic of that other object, it looks like a christmas decoration or something.

the appearance will be sudden...but considering the double talk all around the subject...sudden in geologic timespeak generally means "nodont_use_thisifetime"

I also have been watching this "thing" for months, I am in Texas and airplanes flying in the area are dwarfed by it.

It appears as though it is very low in the sky but hard for me to tell.

I also believe it has gotten either closer, or brighter.

I am in the Southern Hemisphere now. The large star in the south-west has a cloud or fog around it.
Does anyone else see this?

When enquiries were made to the Dept of Planetary Defence in Australia as to what the phenomena could be it was butterflyd that it was a reflection on the housing in which the webcam is kept.They then proceeded to ask questions as to why we were asking !!

How far north is this object visible in the sky?

White light did you take the photos from the Casey base or are they web cam shots?
Maybe we can have them placed next to AC 78´s photos to compare.

The bright light is Venus I presume but turn your gaze to the left. When the bright light ( Venus ) is setting in the Southwest, you should be able to find a hazy patch that appears to be a really huge cloud in space. It is better seen with your perifrial vision and is hard to find if you´re trying to see it straight on. It is very light hazy looking.
I´m not too good with angles and degrees but I think it´s about 30 degrees up from the Southern horizon. I am in Australia by the way. Again, this cloud or haze would be due South when Venus is about to set in the S.West and about the size of a 50cent piece held at arms length.
I did notice it last year but it didn´t seem to be that big back then.
Is this "cloud" growing larger and coming toward us? Is it some kind of nebula or other?
Can someone locate this cloud with a telescope and verify what it might be?

By the way, it´s there every night.
