Cover Up Doom?

uhoh

Meteor shower causes loud boom across Northern California Saturday Night into Sunday Morning!

"A loud boom sounded over much of Northern California early Sunday, the apparent result of an ongoing meteor shower.

A meteor was streaking across the sky when it apparently broke up above the Earth, sending the sound reverberating across the area, said Stefanie Henry, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Sacramento.

The National Weather Service received reports of the sound across Northern California, and even as far south as Orange County, she said."

US Government COVER UP of Loud Booms BEGIN!

Why?

Meteors burn up in our atmosphere at a height of 100 km or so, too high to directly carry sound waves.

In fact, they usually listen to meteors by aiming radar that bounces off their ion trail that can be converted to sound, making eerie, creepy noises.

"The Air Force has a radar surveillance facility in Texas that beams radio waves into the sky. When a bit of cosmic fluff streaks through our sky, the ionized trail it leaves reflects the radio waves, producing an echo. This radio wave is then translated into sound, so you can effectively hear a meteor! "

I saw it was "only between" 5-10 km above the Earths atmosphere when it exploded but that doesn't account for actually "hearing it"

Very low frequency (VLF) radio signals. Such radio waves, which oscillate at audio frequencies between a few kHz and 30 kHz, travel to the ground at the speed of light and human ears can't directly sense radio signals.......

NOW, they are saying the loud sounds are caused by a meteor show since they CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS AWAY.

THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS!

gaah

Can anyone confirm from the NorCal area are the sounds similar to the ones to the vid I just posted...or similar to the MYSTERIOUS LOUD BOOMS HEARD WORLDWIDE?!

Wake up Sheeple.. these Earth booms are increasing worldwide like crazy! Including in Wisconsin of all places!
It's not effing normal!
In Wisconsin it was blamed on what? 0.5 earthquake swarm?
Now the booms are blamed on Meteors?
Wake up!
Welcome to the nearing Pole Shift/crustal displacement!

Loud boom just now in No. Cal. Definitely weird. It sounded like an earthquake but without the shaking. Seems like something is getting ready to do down.

Locals said that most frightening was the unusual rumbling coming from the volcano, which many compared to an aircraft turbine. “We’ve never heard a noise like it,” said Maximiliano Grajales.

so now the popo volcano is making unusual sounds? would like to hear them and compare!

Heh weird because I wrote a paper that briefly touched upon this at university last semester, in terms of meteor showers making sounds.

Never read anything about that even being possible before..you are right..it has only normally been heard using special instruments.

Or fireworks carried up into the atmosphere by Chinese lanterns that happened to hit the perfect angle. Meanwhile, at ground level Swamp Gas amplified the audio distortion when they set them off.

Probably meteor explode above Earth surface like was Tunguska event, only much smaller ..

"The explosion is believed to have been caused by the air burst of a large meteoroid or comet fragment at an altitude of 5–10 kilometres (3–6 mi) above the Earth's surface. Different studies have yielded varying estimates of the object's size, with general agreement that it was a few tens of metres across.[4]"

Once would be an accident.

Twice could be coincidence.

Third time...well like the joke punchline that goes "...so god said, what did you want? I sent two climbers and a helicopter!".

Loud, recurring booms over the northern third of the state...what else do you want? And meteors are just silly...same spot, next day, nowhere else in between, same root cause? lol. Plus those trumpet noises that may or may not be happening around the same general area.

also, there is another meteor sighting vid, over utah, from a couple years ago that also claims it was a meteor.

as they make this shit up it becomes more plausible because they just build on their lies. eventually people just think, 'oh of course that is normal.'

In Tooele County, residents reported that they felt that moment when the meteor shattered. Wiggins said it took about 5 minutes for the sonic boom, but said he's not surprised people felt it.

"Most meteors, you don't hear them, but this one was close enough and big enough that, yeah, you definitely heard the thing. It was exciting," he said.

In fact, seismology monitors at the University of Utah picked up the rumble from the air.

Re: US Govt. coverup of loud booms begin, say it is a meteor shower! The booms back and heard all over NorCal.
"Elizabeth Silber at Western University has searched for infrasound signals from the explosion," says Cooke. "Infrasound is very low frequency sound which can travel great distances. There were strong signals at 2 stations, enabling a triangulation of the energy source at 37.6N, 120.5W. This is marked by a yellow flag in the map below."

"The energy is estimated at a whopping 3.8 kilotons of TNT (about one fourth the energy of the 'Little Boy' bomb dropped on Hiroshima), so this was a big event," he continues. "I am not saying there was a 3.8 kiloton explosion on the ground in California. I am saying that the meteor possessed this amount of energy before it broke apart in the atmosphere. [The map] shows the location of the atmospheric breakup, not impact with the ground."

"The fact that sonic booms were heard indicates that this meteor penetrated very low in atmosphere, which implies a speed less than 15 km/s (33,500 mph). Assuming this value for the speed, I get a mass for the meteor of around 70 metric tons. Hazarding a further guess at the density of 3 grams per cubic centimeter (solid rock), I calculate a size of about 3-4 meters, or about the size of a minivan."

"This meteor was probably not a Lyrid; without a trajectory, I cannot rule out a Lyrid origin, but I think it likely that it was a background or sporadic meteor."

from nasa space weather...person who posted this didn't put a link and i can't find it in the mess that is conspiracy sites reporting on yesterday's meteor.

I did not hear the sounds this weekend but I have heard them about a month ago and wondered what the heck it was. It was in the middle of the night and truly an expansive sound vibration which did not seem localized.

Yesterday I was in the Napa valley and I saw some very fast large aircraft fly directly upward, with a contrail like a missile. I've never seen anything like it and wonder if it was related.

no i am not new, dickweed, i've seen all the fucking videos and read every single thread and then some. what i mentioned are the only two places i have seen mention of dual booms. so if you're going to pop off about someone asking for more evidence and eye witness on that, YOU are the noob. i find it highly relevant to make the reports of multiple booms as clear as possible, as it is an important element IF it is true.
