cincinnati ammo shortage of 9mm - anyone else anywhere else seeing this

People are buying it up.

I posted this before on this forum. I only recently bought firearms for the first time after starting to look a few months ago. Every single time I went to a sporting goods store that sold weapons, there was a crowd only in the corner of the store where the weapons were sold. I went to at least four stores since late last year and I witnessed the same thing at every one, so a few months ago I bought a shotgun and several hundred rounds of ammo. I've gone back to those stores looking for accessories and the chatter I overheard in those stores convinced me that EVERYONE is arming in the expectation of a race war. Even the store cashier made a comment about it. I've since bought another weapon and several filled ammo cans. My point is get all you can NOW. It's like the herd mentality when a stock market crash is anticipated. Once it starts, you'll likely be left out.

People are getting ready to defend themselves for when the charges against Zimmerman are dropped, and the urban jungles explode.

I honestly thought having a 9mm was a good choice since its popular so i assumed ammo would be plentiful.... turns out more people are after it

the irony is i honestly like my 45s better, and they have that, so im gonna stock up on the 45 and ignore the hunt for the 9. yeah its more expensive but I will take what i can get at this point.... i own several and an AR, but at this point im stocking 45 and the 12 gauge, i like the shotgun the most anyway.

I would think people are buying them out.

But I am sure Obamas league is putting pressure on suppliers to cut back.

May want to check at Academy Sports, if you have one in your area.

That's actually what I bought. Two Remington 870 Express Tactical shotguns with ATI telescoping stocks and pistol grips and I love them!

Millions of 9mm rounds, buy all you want.

These guys are usually cheaper if you live in Texas because no sales tax.

I tried cheaperthandirt, got 500 rounds in three days

ordering another 2000 now, btw all the walmarts and bass pro in cinci are still out
