It looks like a fun place to work. I figure, it will help me get over being shy, and also keep me busy.
I haven't asked him yet.

I don't think I could "let" my wife do anything. I certainly couldn't forbid her from doing something she wanted. If you don't want her to, say so. If she does anyway, there's a real respect problem in the relationship.
