I'm Allergic To Being Hungry-severe hives every time | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 26469541 ![]() 10/28/2012 11:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes! I've noticed my hives are somehow linked to hunger. The only thing I can think of is low blood sugar? I recently tried eating only protein, fruits and vegetables. Basically stayed away from bread, pasta, rice, etc. (I did this for my own health, not in relation to the hives.) This made things worse. Now I notice that eating bread helps my hives temporarily go away. Very weird! Is this how it is for you? I'm planning to see an endocrinologist soon. I've already been to an allergist. |

I'm a healthy eater, love fruits and vegetables. The only link I'm finding is that it comes on with low blood sugar. Yet I have no other symptoms. Antihistamines don't help. I know Vitamin C deficiency can cause scurvy but I've never heard of it causing hives. |

Seriously can die if you continue to lack proper nutrition. If it continues, it is an absorbtion issue: get a GI referal and possibly rheumatologist referral. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21738912 Your doctor is a fkin idiot. Scratch that, take multis for a week or two and see if any changes take place. If not, get referrals to the above noted docs. Get canker sores a lot? |
