Im tolerating them so what? I know very well true communists and fascists. I dont try to change theyr believs. With this kinda persons you must talk like with teenager. If you tell anything to them, they do everything contrary.

New-agers brought us channellers, the galactic federation of light, Rael, 2012 mayan shit, mass suicides, and all the associated craziness thanks to all who dabbled in psychic experiences thinking it's cool and fun, while most simply become deluded or crazy.

Plus new-age has been notably (can be proven) hijacked by the CIA.

For all that, I'm grateful to new-age.

Lot's of different ways...charging for services rendered. for example...a psychic charging for a reading....some are not reputable and may be decieving people to get their money.

People buying books, "special" crystals, audio tapes and attending seminars and things like that. It's really huge money :)

Not necessarily. Lot's of different ones. I have seen a psychic recently who was very good. What she had to say gave me some insight into some things. But I would not make a habit of seeing one.

I bet the liberal minds in communist countries or the secular minds in theocrasies would have LOVED to be first! :)

But some new age has benifitted many people...don't throw out the baby with the bath water. There are good things that have come from the new age. It's not all bad.

But seriously, just for the 2012 craziness, I'm really allergic to new-age. It looks like no new-ager has the cojones to say it's vast BS. They all quote each others, without questioning anything.

What is new-age anyway? Can someone define it today? It's a huge syncretic thing where you put anything that is remotely pseudo-scientific, and add it on top of a metaphysic saying "the age of aquarius is coming".

For info, this idea started to become popular thank to Theosophy, and is one of the basic beliefs of most modern secret societies, "illuminatis" and masons included. But no one can clearly state WHEN it's supposed to start.

For some authors it was 2000; for others it will be more like 3500. That leave us some time left...

But the common point of all new-agers, is that they believe the new-age is SOON...
