Religion does, Spirituality doesn't. In order for us to perform on the intergalactic stage we must first learn to accept and tolerate that people believe different things.

ETs won't believe in God, or they'll believe in a different God. They may worship a golden doughnut. They may act like stereotypical black people all with voices like Chris Tucker's.

Tolerance. We have to leave it up to our Gods to judge, and stop judging ourselves.
