I completley appreciate and respect people of faith - its their right to believe in whatever they want.
I went to a Church of England school, said prayers every day and did bible and religious studies - but when I left school I saw the bible very differently - for me personally I saw its teachings a guide for society to live a decent life - to be good and tollerant human beings. ( I don't mean to come accross as saying 'its ONLY a guide etc' I say this with the upmost respect.

The problem with threads like these is that so will get trolled by people that won't accept that people are different and end up resorting to damning the non-believers to hell come rapture time etc. - which is a shame because its not just about religion or God - is a fantastic opportunity to have a philisophical debate.

My Signature below is a bit of a 'bait' but it does some up my opinion about God and religion. However, I still consider myself to be a spiritual person who reflects often - just not in the way christians do.
